Tiny curling tendrils from a waning pink Spider Chrysanthemum at Smith's Lyman Conservatory. The show ended last Sunday, but most of the flowers are still in place. They're still lovely, as they gracefully depart, and their petals become more and more translucent and delicate. 🌸
BR Standard Class 7 number 70000, “Britannia”, passes Stokesay Castle as it heads south on the Welsh Marches line working the 1Z66 Shrewsbury to Poole Saphos Charter.

An NKCR train departed Grant eastbound this morning to switch in Madrid, NE. It is now headed back west, passing by its headquarters. OMLX 421, a former Espee Tunnel Motor, is sitting at the shop. I was hoping it would be on the train today, but alas, it was not. OMLX 413 was used for today instead.

After an oppressively hot day in South East Queensland, it was great to watch the sunset and a passing storm at Lake Samsonvale.

This 3metre long piece of driftwood had to be re-located in the back of my ute (to the dislike of the local park-ranger who pulled me over haha) and I waited until mid-afternoon and a few beers to shoot it with the good ol big stopper.

Took this shot at San Juanico Bridge. This bridge connects Leyte and Samar islands, and was built by the Japanese during the 70's.

I don't have nearly enough pictures in my new home turf, so I decided to change that. Here's Q03430 passing in the shadow of the monuments on its way north.
323240 ascends the Lickey Incline with 2P30 Bromsgrove to Lichfield Trent Valley passing Pikes Pool.
There were no campers to be found on February 20, 1978 as a pair of SD40's covered with winter grime start 911 on its way west. 753 and 742 have 81 cars in tow and the rear end crew should be about ready to board the caboose back near the depot. At this point the train is on a slight downgrade just out of Trout Lake but as soon as the conductor and rear brakie are on it will be run 8 to try to build speed for the 2 mile grade ahead. Westbound normally got a workout leaving town and track speed wasn't reached until you were near mile 443 five miles to the west.
Freightliner Class 66/6 No. 66614 1916 POPPY 2016 passes Peak Forest Cemex with 6H44, 06:46 Pendleton (Brindle Heath) – Tunstead Sidings empty hoppers on 21st April 2021. There are four other Class 66s in the shot.

46145 The Duke of Wellington's Regt. (West Riding) on the down "Thames-Clyde Express". Summer 1959 ? Having spent much of its life at Longsight, 46145 moved to Leeds Holbeck in 1953 from where it was withdrawn in December 1962 and cut up at Crewe in October 1963.
A popular spot for photographing the Great Orme Tramway is here at the passing loop. Car number 7 is climbing towards the summit as car 6 is descending. I would guess this is a morning picture as number 7 is packed with people and 6 is empty. The cable detail is very prominent between the rails on this cable tramway, the engine driving the system is contained to the right of the picture.
