Thanks for all your comments and faves, much appreciated.
It is a busy occurrence at Kuopio station as a passenger train and a freight train meet each other, while the path is cleared for the freighter. As class Sr2 stands still near the platform, it watches the passing production line of Ponsse wood cutting vehicles that are going to be delivered worldwide.
A shot I have not done before of trains passing at Weybourne, with a very short train in platform 1 in the form of rail bus E79960 meeting Standard Tank 80080 as it arrives from Holt. Both machines that had short service careers with BR, resurrected and providing delight in the 21st century. The rail bus is making a short visit back from the Ribble Steam Railway in Preston where it is on loan. Owned by the NNR but too small to handle the current passenger numbers the line sees during the summer season, as has been demonstrated while it has been back. Though it will be running mid-week until 27th June, next Friday, before going back north.

I had a little time on my hands and caught 222018 on the London - Sheffield passing 222008 on the Sheffield - London at Kibbworth
CAF Spanish built class 195001 passing Frodsham Cheshire and in Northern Rail livery rather than the usual TfW colours, this being the first to arrive in the UK to replace Pacers in 2018?.
I have just done a little research on Northern and I have found that this is a service I didn't know about!, Chester-Leeds.
From last weeks shots, after getting close to the lump laying on the ground ( me and my camera ) this coyote started slowly wandering off.
ISS and Milky Way over Ngaruroro River, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand
There has been a lot of talk today about the 15th anniversary of the occupation of the International Space Station, so here is a shot I took last night of the ISS rising through the core of the Milky Way at 9:30pm.
Coincidentally the ISS has been especially visible from New Zealand over the last week or so, and this pass overhead was the first of 2 last night, and the 10th visible pass in the last 4 days.
We are fast losing sight of the core of the Milky Way in our night sky with the approach of summer, but we will see it again in late January in the morning sky.
I haven't shot astro from this location before, but given that it is half way between the 2 main urban centres in Hawke's Bay, I was surprised at how clear the Milky Way was. Of course light pollution is a problem but in this case it gave me silhouettes of the river banks and some light on the water.
This image is made from 18 photos, taken 1 after another covering a period of about 4 1/2 minutes. These 18 images were then blended in Photoshop, with 1 photo forming the background of the stars, river and land, and the trail of the ISS blended into it from the other images.
18 images each one D800, 15sec, ISO3200, 14mm, f3.2
Processed in LR6 and blended in PSCC

C/2020 F3 Neowise comet. A special event that my eyes were barely able to see due to Lisbon's light pollution, but thankfully the camera and lens were there to show it in all its glory :).
Stack of 27 exposures (1.3s, ISO 1000) taken with an EOS R camera and Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 G2 lens. Deep Sky Stacker was used for stacking and affinity photo for removing the light pollution from the city.
Passing shots are some what of a rarity on the GCR
Austerity Tank 68067 approaches Quorn and Woodhouse as BR Hall 6990 "Witherslack Hall" works a mixed freight towards Loughborough Central in some of the last moves of the day
1501 makes an enthusiastic getaway from its stop at Bewdley, with the 10.45 Bridgnorth - Kidderminster on Wed 26th September 2018.
This is another shot of an old dilapidated barn that was supposed to have been torn down shortly after I discovered it a couple of years ago. When I visited the place again last month (March), it was still standing (despite some very strong gusting winds that kept blowing my cap off--which then I chased across the field on a couple of occasions).
There were some clouds in the sky on this trip, which I was very happy about. Spotty rain showers were in the area and the winders were blustery, making it feel rather chilly.

I'm not sure how much scanner art there is in the pic. However, I thought it interesting enough to show it here.

Possibly even paying a fortune to arrange two trains passing on a charter has now been lost in a riot of health and safety excuses. So here’s an image which relied on pure luck near Hatton North back in summer 1965.

Now that I think about it, "passing clouds" is a somewhat superfluous name; there are no stationary and permanent clouds. All clouds are impermanent and passing.
An NKCR train departed Grant eastbound this morning to switch in Madrid, NE. It is now headed back west, passing by its headquarters. OMLX 421, a former Espee Tunnel Motor, is sitting at the shop. I was hoping it would be on the train today, but alas, it was not. OMLX 413 was used for today instead.
