This pair was one of many hungry couples along the riverfront on Tuesday.

Twisted pairs of wire connected to an RJ-45 plug. Read the Wikipedia article to see why they are twisted. It is likely that every photo you see on Flickr has, at one point, traversed a twisted pair.

"I remember their smooth skin,

those newly delivered,

the pink skin and the serious China-blue eyes.

They came from a mysterious country

without the pang of birth,

born quietly and well."

Anne Sexton (1928-1974)

" Pink is the color of many girls,

it is the color of the fashion world!

Pink is the attitude of a princess,

it’s the sensation of buying a new dress!

Pink is the scent of a pricy perfume,

it’s the explosion when a flower blooms!

Pink is soft like a fluffy pillow,

it is cool like a wind that billows,

pink is sweet like cotton candy,

pink is girly, cute and dandy! "

Kelly Curiel

The Pea Island Wildlife Sanctuary is an excellent place to see warblers and much larger birds like the Herons. There were thousands of White Pelicans which originate in Wyoming and come to North Carolina for winter.
