Stereo pair taken with a FED-BOY stereo camera in week 115 of my 52 film cameras in 52 weeks project:

The FED BOY is made in Ukraine, and was introduced in 1988, it takes stereo pairs, with each image being 24mm x 30mm. On the film, each stereo pair has an image from the adjacent pair in the middle.
These birds took off shortly afterwards and a family of birds landed right afterwards. The family looked like they could be the same type of bird, but they were lighter colored than these.
I am not sure what kind of birds these are. They look somewhat like grackles, but they are not as dark or have the shiny-blue colored feathers. They also made noises unlike any other type of bird I have heard before. I saw these birds eating something on a wall next to a McDonald's in Oklahoma City. I don't recall ever seeing this type of bird in Ohio.

Kookaburras are terrestrial tree kingfishers of the genus Dacelo native to Australia and New Guinea, which grow to between 28 and 47 cm in length and weigh around 300 g. The name is a loanword from Wiradjuri guuguubarra, onomatopoeic of its call. Wikipedia Scientific name: Dacelo

Except for the center these rosettes are carved as a complementary set, meaning all the surface and shapes that got carved out in the first rosette I kept untouched in the second and vice versa. Additionally I stained the second rosette dark and added a used, worn out and old look in contrast to the smooth, light and newish appearance of the first rosette.
At first I was kind of irritated because of the unusual look of my second creation, but finally I actually came to like it rather fondly.

Bis auf das Zentrum ist die Rosette komplentär geschnitzt, d.h. alles was bei der ersten Rosette rausgeschnitzt wurde, habe ich bei diesem Exemplar stehen lassen und anders herum. Zusätzlich habe ich diese Rosette dunkel gebeizt und eine abgenutzte, alte, fast schon verschlissene Erscheinung verpasst im Gegensatz zum sauberen, hellen und neuwertigen Look der positiven Rosette.
Anfang war ich etwas irritiert wegen des ungewohnten Anblicks, aber inzwischen mag ich das rustikale Erscheinungsbild der negativen Rosette immer mehr.

It was a windy day and this was reflected by the roughness of the water. I wonder if they are truly a pair. Seen on the east of Andrew Haydon park.
A pair of 313 units with 313018 bringing up the rear head away from Alexandra Palace towards Moorgate, 18/4/19.
This pair of Class 18E's are seen between Klamputs and Muldersvlei, hauling the Rovos Rail, "Pride of Africa" tourist train, from Pretoria to Cape Town.
There were quite a few of these chaps at Sumburgh Head. The top of the headland has a lowish wall. It's quite a surprise to look over the top and find the puffins just the other side. These two were busy courting judging by their behaviour: tapping their bills together in a vigorous manner.
It was quite tricky getting a decent picture. My tele-zoom lens was at maximum focal length and the birds wouldn't stay still.
