This is the package she sent me!!! Herbs, cookbooks, a washcloth, two DVDs, and even a bear. Squee!

Observe the size of the gadget contained therein, which was sealed in an almost impenetrable plastic thing that had to be hacked apart with a knife. (There was another layer of cardboard involved too.) It's enough to make you vote Green.
Longtime icons of design and style for the home, Caldrea, asked us to concept designs for an exclusive line of Caldrea products within Target stores. Starting from scratch, we developed a name (Field Notes) that led the concept into a set of 5 science inspired icons - one for each scent. The icons use varied line weights and modern shapes found in nature paired with a numbering system that suggests textbook diagrams. These icons are paired with intricate single line weight patterns, making the packaging feel modern and unique. Varied color palettes provide each item with its own identity while the collection stands out within the busy retail environment.

I think my sister longs to be a giant. For as long as I can remember, she has had an obsession with using tiny silverware to eat her meals. Perhaps it is because the tallest member of our family in recent memory is 5'9”. Or maybe she identifies more with the Giant than his vegetable scaling murderer in the classic fairy tale that celebrates theft and homicide.
Regardless of the rational behind her obsession, I knew this fork and spoon was destined for my sister's kitchen table.
Since the act of opening a gift is one of the most enjoyable parts of gift-giving for both the giver and receiver, pleasure in packaging was a significant concern. I came up with a solution consisting entirely of recycled materials.

As part of a large rebranding project, we designed this new packaging for Metropolis Technology.
Playing on the theme of the company's name, the new packaging features extensive imagery of city life in two categories - blue for professional products and magenta for consumer. Each package features bright colors, contrasted with rich blacks and matte textures contrasted with glossy UV areas.
I got my lovely package today! Yay! My partner - Patricia sent me a lovely package! It was so much fun!
(This one is way too pinkish - I don't like the color of my table and I always wonder what to do with it, lol)
