On October 29, 2018. our friends at the Aurora Fox Arts Center hosted a special, one-night-only concert event that raised $1,241 for The Denver Actors Fund. To date, the DAF has distributed more than $300,000 to Colorado theatre artists who need help paying for emergency medical bills, high insurance co-payments, medical supplies and more. The near-capacity crowd was among the first people ever to experience a brand new, hair-raising rock opera by Colorado-based but internationally-celebrated composer, David Nehls. At the derailleur mast, which ends up in the outer, more bulbous, portion of the SporTube sleeve, I tape on a photo of the complete bike, a copy of the frameset, and a business card.
Doing this has stopped TSA from feeling the need to drag everything out of the tube to look at it. I can tell, because the tube is the same length when I get it back; If they've drug everything out, the case is always longer and the chances of a big ol' paint scratch are really ramped up.
I am 5' 9" tall. The "tube", when full of bike and stood on end, is about 4 inches shorter than me, unless TSA has opened it up; then the tube is closer to 6'.
My mother was born in Hythe in Kent. She was evacuated to West Wales during the 2nd World War. She returned to Kent where she did her apprenticeship and returned to Wales and got married there in 1956. I used to visit my grandparents & family in Kent when I was younger. It must be close on 40 years since I visited this area of Folkestone - last time I was there it was a ferry port & hovercraft port.
Every other chain loop (the closest ones have every loop) is pinned out; this is full size. When I have more pins, I'll pin out the rest of the chain loops.

Walking on the Outer Barrier, Hodbarrow, close to Haverigg Lighthouse. The barrier, a mile-and-a-quarter long and forty feet high, is one of many industrial relics in the Millom district. Both barrier and lighthouse date from 1905. The former prevented tidal flooding of haematite ore mines, the latter was an important navigational aid for the many ships that used to dock here and alongside Millom's Salthouse Pool pier.
Clearcuts have a rollover effect – they never take just what the loggers intend. Over the next decade, an outer ring on the neighboring land falls as well, trees with no shelter from their neighbors. Our forests don't grow well alone, hinging their height on protection from the wind, safety in numbers. It's just as true on the Old Ratchford Road, cratered and cut to the quick, no native land. Encroachment seems to sting a little more here, as this forms the north border of the local reserve. A little land is all they've got, so here's a sharp reminder of how little it really is. But what's more on my mind are these abandoned roads I hike, winding trails that go for a few minutes or a few miles. This one's just a short section, but not worth much without the woods. What's a forest road without the trees around it?

This is the top of a 'building' (?) in downtown; can someone tell me if those "Satellite Monsters" are carcenogenic? It is a "structure" next to AT&T Corporate Head-Quarters (the Blue Tinted Windows) that the Board members get to choke-on during their meetings...
