Have not have an oppurtunity to get out with the camera for a while, just shot this out my window for something to post.
Dark overcast skies so it's a little grainy.
Good news is that this Friday i am heading to Crater Lake for a full day of shooting with some stops for waterfall shots also.
Start looking for the pic's on Saturday, that way i can give you all a rest from my hummer shots.

The day itself was quite okay, I suppose, BUT THE BEST THING EVER HAPPENED. Shannon and I were the first to start an experiment in chemistry, and not the last to finish! AHHHHH. we were so proud! and we did the experiment right <3

A friend of mine gave me similar advice not too long ago and since then i've tried hard to apply myself. Some days are better than others but in these times finding steady work is not proving easy and you feel your self worth take many a knock back.
Still who can stay down for long when we are having such gorgeous sunny and balmy days : )

I'm heading off to college! Probably won't be posting for a while, so I just wanted to say thanks to y'all giving me the oppurtunity to share some of my art over the course of three years.
I LIKE Neil Etasse's Model A coupe, and those arches finally became available in brown, so it seemed like the perfect oppurtunity to build a bitchin car.
This first trip to Glacier NP was in late summer of 2015, when the whole state of Montana was on fire. Luckily it was a trip for visiting, and not for photos. Otherwise it would have been pretty disappointing. The smoke was so thick, you couldn't see anything. But, it did add a different feel to things, and forced you to notice the smaller details, rather than the bigger picture. But I'm more than ready to go back now, and check out the bigger picture! Lol
We drove through the night, and got to Flathead Lake just as the sun was coming up. Other than the morning we left, this was about the only time we actually got to see the sky. These aren't the best, most photogenic shots. But there were a few great oppurtunities, so these are the highlights.

edit: No luck with the eclipse....no red glow, and a touch of high level mist made for a disappointing phto oppurtunity :o(

Got the oppurtunity to go airside at Sky Harbor and see British Airways up close and take photos. After these photos we went to the North side of runway 26 to watch the departure.

CEFX SD60 6014, very obviously a former SOO Line unit sits in the yard at JBS in Altoona. This was one of the units that came into town on NS 995 earlier in the afternoon, which I was unable to get a shot of, so the redemption oppurtunity was solid. October 22, 2017.
For ages now, on my way to work, I've looked at the redundant gasometer and thought I should really take some pictures of it before it's demolished. Like the Nestles chimney, its one of those Salisbury landmarks from my childhood, that's going to disappear soon. My evening trip to Waitrose to take pictures of the Baron, gave me the oppurtunity to take some pictures.
The weather was not cooperative on this Tuesday evening and Cruise Night was canceled. None the less, a couple of people went ahead and showed up and took advantage of the oppurtunity to eat at a local restaurant.
This rusty 1934 Ford had an attractive and strangely gallant appearance as the light rain fell upon her skin that had seen many sunny days as well as many rainy days over the course of several decades.

Optare Solo M710SE is seen here at Newcastle Civic Centre on day one of the trophy tour of the region where the launch event was being held, their was also the oppurtunity to take photos of the trophies along with selfies with a chance to win tickets to the game tomorrow between Newcastle Falcons v Sale Sharks at Newcastle United's St James's Park where the trophies will be for day two of the tour.
The vehicle will transport the European Rugby Challenge Cup and European Rugby Continental Shield, staff, volunteers and the Newcastle Falcon’s official mascot Stephen the Seahorse to events between Friday 22 March and 14 April 2019.
Journeying from Middlesbrough to Newcastle, up to Berwick and the Scottish Borders, the Tour will give fans the opportunity to have photographs taken with the trophies - and be in with a chance to win tickets to the finals.
In total the silverware will visit 12 schools, 11 rugby clubs, 11 community/public events, five businesses and major sporting fixtures at Newcastle United FC, Middlesbrough FC, Newcastle Eagles basketball, Newcastle Falcons and the Melrose Sevens.

yesterday i had the oppurtunity to meet up with an old friend and try some portrait stuff with a model other than me. i had alot of fun and hope to be able to so this more often
Had a shoot with Erin at Franklin Park. We didn't have a lot of time but I think we got some great looking shots. I hop[e I have the oppurtunity to work with her again soon and get some more great shots

'Overall very good condition apart from a bit of corrosion on the rear arches' I would call that more than just a bit... The car in my opinion is in ok condition and I would have bought it from the owner if the oppurtunity arisen. I can see this car sitting for quite some time as at £1795 its well overpriced.
Not soon after passing my HGV test I had the oppurtunity to drive this elderly 1978 Leyland Boxer. Despite its age it was quite pleasant to drive although from memory the reverse layout of the top gear took some getting use to. Fitted with bodywork by Longwell Green with a Ratcliff tail lift and rear and side shutter doors it had spent the most of its life delivering 'works orders' around the Liverpool telephone area ... mainly equipment for upgrading the telephone exchanges in the age of when the majority of the work was done by BT's own skilled workforce rather than external contractors.

It is seen here near Marthall, although quite why I was around here I can not recall as Knutsford was in the neighbouring South Manchester Telephone Area...
I'm incredibly grateful to have been given the oppurtunity to visit Travel Wright's depot on the evening of the 1st April, and I'm very appreciative to the two people who organised and authorised this for me.
Within the depot, the majority of service vehicles were parked in a line on the far side of the yard, whilst coaches, deckers and two singles were parked in the main area opposite the building.
Here's a look at most of the final service fleet operated by the company, from left to right, Optare Solos S15, S60 and S13, Dennis Dart/Plaxton Pointer D27, Optare Solo S16, ADL Enviro200 E30, and Optare Solo S61.
Elsewhere within the yard were Dennis Dart D28, ADL Enviro200 E30 and the trio of deckers used mostly on school routes 609 and 609B.
Further photos from the final days of Travel Wright will be uploaded here in due course, but for now, it's a very big farewell.

an absolutely fantastic line up of four Wrights Eclipse Gemmini bodied Volvo B7's used currently on Harrogate's service 36 between Leeds and Ripon via Harrogate.
This line up greeted me at 6am Sunday morning and i only had just over an hour to capture this shot before the line up was broken for service, I took the shots at 7am just after sunrise, it would have been easier at 8am but that was not an option......... I had no input whatsoever in creating this line up.............. BUT boy did I make the most of it. !!!

As much as Iove the idea of the new App-Controlled Batmobile (Set 76112) It just doesn't look like a Batmobile. Not really. Which meant it was the perfect oppurtunity to MOC it up.
So, using the 1989 Batmobile as inspiration, I present - The Chibi Batmobile.
And yes, it's a lot of fun to drive.

The next part of Erathor’s story for the Lands of Classic Castle (LCC) roleplaying game.
Story:
Erathor’s eyes blinked open and, as he looked around the dark room he lay in, he wondered where he was. A sudden memory flooded his mind, a memory of an ambush and the man who had rendered him unconscious. Saylon. The man had no honour, for he only beat Erathor because the Loresii lord was wounded. Whatever Saylon was up to with his Scorpions, Erathor had to stop it.
Standing upright, Erathor found the he was not in chains. Trying the low wooden door to the room, he realised that there was no use trying to break it down. He would have to wait a while longer for a different oppurtunity to arise.
The sound of footsteps outside grew louder. Erathor knelt in the darkness to the left of the door, waiting for it to swing open.
“You want some food, Loresii scum?” a harsh, cracked voice called. A man entered the room, and his dark cloak bore the Scorpion sigil on it. Erathor leapt out from his corner, gripping his hands tightly around the man’s throat. As soon as the Scorpion fell into unconsciousness, Erathor threw him onto the stone floor. He took the keys and left the room cautiously, locking the door behind him.
As he went outside, Erathor noticed that his weapons were leaning against the wall, along with the weapons of his friends. Only Laythe’s knives were missing.
“Come, Bryke, let’s get out of here.” Erathor had already rescued Allaeus and Royce and was now opening the door to Bryke’s cell. For some reason all four of them had been left in their armour, something that could now be a blessing. Their captors, however, obviously knew nothing about the keeping of prisoners.
“Now we need to find Laythe. Does anyone know where he is?” Allaeus asked.
“He was put in here.” Royce ran quietly over to another low door and peered inside. After a moment he turned around, a worried look on his face. “He’s not there.” Erathor breathed deeply, for his wounded leg was throbbing painfully. It had been bandaged, something he did not expect.
“We can’t wait for him,” he said in response. “He must have escaped some other way. Now let’s get moving!” The four Loresii ran onwards, trying to be as silent as possible. They made their way down a long corridor that had other passageways branching off it. A staircase was ahead, and there was no other way to go. Erathor began to climb the stairs.

I was given the oppurtunity to shoot my cousin's wedding in no-where but Italy this past weekend, and wow, if I ever decide to move internationally I think I have my first choice ready to go.
Following the pouring rain in the morning, we did a full loop around the centre of Sacile (Sa-Chile) for a 25 minute portrait session - whoo-ie don't we just love architecture?
If you have ever seen "Under the Tuscan Sun" you might be thinking the exact same thing as I am right now...
2nd day : Journey to Ha Long Bay
After about an hour and half on the way ( Hanoi to Ha long Bay ), our guide instructed the bus driver to pull-over at a gas station near by Hai Duong city, so some of our friends could refresh themselves or use the toilet. At the meantime used the oppurtunity to take pictures of some Vietnamese farmers working at the rice fields. here the rice fields looks so green and fertile, just like in my country.

I wanted to explore the 422 today so I decided to head to Greenwich, take a photo of 386 in the process too, but I couldn't help but not take this golden oppurtunity whilst I was waiting for PVL365 which turned out to be very late, being only one minute ahead of the one behind.

Personally, I prefer spotting next to the runway, because of the action and better angles for photography.
But sometimes I choose the photo oppurtunity on the Schiphol Airport viewing terrace; just for the fun and the diverent angles at the same spot.
Take-off/ landing/ rolling aircraft and all the action to get the plane back in the air, asap..
Unfortunately the heat/ APU-distortion is quite irritating, especially on cold days, but all-in-all you are able to take some nice actionshots from above, on the terrace.

I thought I had better put a color photo out. ( but darn it, its not going to be very colorful !) Taking this photo I got caught. Down a quiet blacktop road in the morning I seen this house and knew that the still pond beside it would hold a reflection of the old place. I climbed 2 pipe gates to get there and a truck drove by and stopped at our car in the entranceway, so I quickly packed up and headed back and my wife was at the car talking to him. When I arrived I apologized, but I knew this was a special oppurtunity and he didn't mind at all. He was flattered that someone was even interested enough to take its picture. Got permission to return also with IR when the leaves fill out. Could of went the other way.This is in Lewis Co. Missouri.

The Monsoon is a joyous time, a rejuvenating force, refreshing rivers, enabling biodiversity. It is also the time when many birds procreate.
The male peafowl, when courting peahens, display their trains and rattle their bodies so the feathers catch the sunlight and appear to shimmer. The vibrancy of the peacock's colors, the length of their trains and the overall quality of their feathers make for a successful mating.
I did not have a camera with me, so I recorded this on the cell phone. The bird was about 6 feet away, totally ignoring us, and I think I'll never have such an oppurtunity again.

It was time to put up the Christmas decorations in our house and I took the oppurtunity to do some depth of field testing. Also, is this a self portrait because of my reflection in the Christmas ornament?

an absolutely fantastic line up of four Wrights Eclipse Gemmini bodied Volvo B7's used currently on Harrogate's service 36 between Leeds and Ripon via Harrogate.
This line up greeted me at 6am Sunday morning and i only had just over an hour to capture this shot before the line up was broken for service, I took the shots at 7am just after sunrise, it would have been easier at 8am but that was not an option......... I had no input whatsoever in creating this line up.............. BUT boy did I make the most of it. !!!

For week 5 of 52 I had the oppurtunity to do my first cake smash shoot with the beautiful Efa who just turned one!!
I must say ... I absolutely LOVED this shoot, was so much fun, loved using natural light again and the girly pinks, well I'm a girl, I <3 the pinkness of it all :)
Taken with my d300s, 35mm f/1.8 shot most of this shoot wide open or max f/2.5 ..
I have 2 vinyl backdrop/floor set up (which cost in the region of £140) which is the white wooden floor u see here and I have a dark damask patterned backdrop, however, without breaking the bank to get a girly backdrop, I visited a local shop and purchased a roll of pink/white flowered wallpaper and literally cellotaped it to one of my walls, placed a skirting board against it on top of the vinyl floor a here it is, a nice pink studio set up for £9!!!!! :)
