I became addicted to cinnabon when I was traveling so much last year. I took the oppurtunity to feed the addiction recently
Heres the story . In the early 1980s I was a Camera technician For Polaroid in the UK.
I had plenty of oppurtunity to practise image manipulation because we used hundreds of film packs to test the cameras after we fixed them
So on this picture I became POLABUNNY !

I had the pleasure and oppurtunity to shoot the new Lady Gaga cover by The Demonstration. This new hit has been tweeted by Lady Gaga and will be aired on MTV sometime in the near future.
I realized we have this gold christmas theme goin on, so I laid out our japanese gift wrap under the glass on our coffee table today for our Christmas tomorrow. I was surprised at how much I like the way it looks, I may keep it like that for awhile. Being snowed in has given me the oppurtunity to really pimp out Christmas here at home, which has been a blast!
I'm quite fond of the various manufacturer stands at race weekends like the WSB, it gives a great oppurtunity for me to completely cock up my camera settings, somewhere I managed to whack up the ISO and the D50 produces more noise than a screaming baby.
I liked the depth of field of this one, but like I said, the noise doesn't show it off to well.
Chinese delegates representing universities in China came to visit Macquarie University. This was a fantastic oppurtunity to learn what sustainable intiatives are being undertaken and to exchange knowledge.
Alicia & I jumped on the oppurtunity to have a one-on-one encounter with two tiger cubs at the Wildlife Reserve in St Augustine. It was awesome. We can now scratch that off the "bucket list".

My father was born and brought up in this small village.
I have heard about his hardwork, his commitment, his responsibilites, his tough journey through life... from his parents (still alive)
and from the people of this village ( kaveri pattinam ).
Most of his classmates are farmers...
Imagine, if he had not worked hard or studied, but loafed around, like the other villagers...
My daily routine would have been , driving this TRACTOR - for real --- seriously....
Its just because of him.... I am driving my red ALTO, today ---- You can find my car behind the tractor....in this pic.

An opportunity to have access to the Malting’s Flax Mill in Ditherington, Shrewsbury.
This was a fantastic chance to see inside this iconic building that has been left to ruin, the place where my father (pictured here), worked for many years up until the day it was closed and left to rot, this building is one of the first iron framed building to have been built in the world and one of the oldest still standing and we have let it down.
My father couldn’t wait to get back inside, to look around and relive some of the many memories he had of this place of work, it was fascinating to listen to him tell myself and Joshua (my son & his Grandson) of how this building worked and the conditions they worked in. His face lit up every time he talked of his memories and he was disgusted in the condition it was in, as when the Malting’s closed the building was in great condition and well maintained.
Thank you to the Flaxmill Maltings Community Arts open exhibition for the oppurtunity to go inside and photograph the buildings and for the chance to listen to my father relive some of his memories.

Drive to Dandabah in the Bunya Mountains and park in the picnic area. The walking tracks can be easily accessed through the picnic area
Take the route signposted for Festoon Falls. The falls will soon be heard and seen. The falls offer a wonderful photo oppurtunity.
Continue on this track to Pine Gorge Lookout, Tim Shea Falls and the Hollow Strangler Fig Tree. It is a 4km circuit track (easy to moderate)
When I first bought my tripod I was really excited to use it so I drove behind Worcester airport to take some photos. I had driven by this bridge before and knew i wanted to photograph it, so this was a perfect oppurtunity. Unfortunatly it was really windy so i only grabbed a few photos but they still came out okay and i really really like my tripod.

This woodpecker is a regular visitor to the garden, but rarely do i get the oppurtunity to photograph her with much variety. Today, she chose to pose and i think i would have got alot more shots with the omd, alas that is back with olympus at the moment but the e30 performed ok

This is composed of 5 shots of this stream. Taken along the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail just outside Gatlinburg, TN. There are many good photo oppurtunities on this trail. It is well worth the drive.
I picked Riverbank State Park for my vantage point and was rewarded with three close flyby oppurtunity and the Shuttle turned on final approach to JFK right over my head. I was jumping and shouting like and 8 Year old: IT FLEW OVER MY HOUSE!

A group made up of students from MBS in Marketing, MSc in Business Management and MSc in E-commerce had the oppurtunity of visiting Shanghai for a week on a trip led by Dr. Theo Lynn. Check out the photos. Next year it could be you on the trip of a lifetime!

So often you wander around with your camera and the photo oppurtunities just don't arise. At other times, the best photos get missed because you've put your camera down for the first time in about three weeks. As chance would have it, this seal wriggeld his way in just as I's attached my 200mm lens ;-)

As AFC Wulfrunians were playing at Quorn i took the oppurtunity to make a day of it and spent some time in the morning at the Great Central railway's Quorn & Woodhouse station.It was more fun than the football and the natives were much friendlier
Some times i'm sent to interview some one by myself, in this case it was a doctor featured on ABC's 20/20 talking about the increase of fatal overdoses of prescription pain medicine.

Thursday it rained.
Friday. Our last morning in the hazy yangshao. We take the oppurtunity to cycle out of town for an hour or two.
