not feeling well today! waaahhh!!!

Sammy Sosa dons Jon's hat. She pulls it off way better than he ever could.

The operator of a weedkiller spraying MPV takes a moment to enjoy the view as his train approaches Green Road station in glorious sunshine.

This was Monday's 3Z19 06.48 Carlisle N.Y. - Carlisle N.Y. via Carnforth and the Cumbrian Coast line.

As a result of social distancing regulations brought about by the onset of coronavirus the cab of the MPV could not be shared by the operator with a driver, necessitating the top & tailing of the unit by a brace of locomotives due to the amount of reversals necessary.

Three workings were slated for the beginning of the week; this one on the Monday, a Tuesday morning train running the same route but in the opposite direction and a Wednesday afternoon / evening trip covering the Carlisle branches followed by a Whitehaven return.

These workings should have run a couple of months back but the tunnel collapse at Parton put the kybosh on that big-style.

Only one DB driver signs the full coastal route so it was a no-brainer that friend and fellow flickrite "Marra Man" was at the controls of 66094 & 66118, the (helpfully red) loco's allocated for these jaunts.

Three different operators seen at Brighton Station this morning. Seaford & District Dennis Dart with a Compass Travel ADL Enviro behind and a Brighton & Hove Scania Omnilink at the back.

Heh, been a while since I've posted. I'm not dead, just extremely busy!

As per commission, I've made a figure based on this, but with a different weapon and some modifications.

This was extremely fun to make, as I got to use a casted version of my slimmed torsos, hips, and legs (a product I'm thinking of offering). Additionally, I sculpted a helmet cover over a heavily modified Combat Brick helmet, using Tiny Tactical's amazing helmet rails and NVG mount. The rails on the gun were sculpted, along with most of the pockets and a few pouches.

This was also my first time painting multicam and woodland camo on a figure.

Please check out my instagram @avxtc_designs to see more frequent updates and WIPs! I post a lot more on there, and you'll get a chance to see some of my casted projects that I'll be releasing very soon. So as always, expect more, and I'd love to hear your thoughts!

This is the big one. A warm-up, if you will, to show that I can super-detail on a preset. Next, for my final SPW trial, I'll try to achieve the same level of detail on an original design.

Operator Gary Montgomery is hooping up 19Y train orders for the Extra North at Mekatina on a pleasant summer afternoon.

The station sign had fallen off the side of the building so I moved it so that it would show in the photo.

Operator, well, could you help me place this call?

See, the number on the matchbook is old and faded

She's living in L. A. with my best old ex-friend Ray

Guy, she said she knew well and sometimes hated

Isn't that the way they say it goes?

But let's forget all that

And give me the number if you can find it

So I can call just to tell them I'm fine and to show

I've overcome the blow, I've learned to take it well

I only wish my words could just convince myself

That it just wasn't real but that's not the way it feels

Operator, oh, could you help me place this call?

'Cause I can't read the number that you just gave me

There's something in my eyes, you know it happens every time

I think about the love that I thought would save me

But isn't that the way they say it goes?

Well, let's forget all that

And give me the number if you can find it

So I can call just to tell them I'm fine and to show

I've overcome the blow, I've learned to take it well

I only wish my words could just convince myself

That it just wasn't real but that's not the way it feels

No, no, no, no, that's not the way it feels

Operator, well, let's forget about this call

There's no one there I really wanted to talk to

Thank you for your time

Oh, you've been so much more than kind

You can keep the dime

But isn't that the way they say it goes?

Well, let's forget all that

And give me the number if you can find it

So I can call just to tell them I'm fine and to show

I've overcome the blow, I've learned to take it well

I only wish my words could just convince myself

That it just wasn't real but that's not the way it feels

For some reason, I forgot to upload this one!

An old custom that needed new light. Added some little touches like the wire for the NVGs and a nice baseplate. Hope you enjoy!

Dylan's post the other day [https://www.flickr.com/photos/lego_armed-forces/32319792464/in/dateposted/] really inspired me to try multicam again and I knew that I wanted to have another go at my old favourite SEAL Team 6/DEVGRU operator.

This figure is comprised of mostly my cast pieces and complimented with a Tiny Tactical weapon, attachments and some other TT parts (chem lights, radio, knee pads, carabiner and admin pouch).

The G-Bricks parts in this figure are:

-Ops Core (Spec Ops version)

-GPNVG's

-Gunsight Mandible

-Mechanix Gloves

-New torso (includes shemagh), new legs and new arm assemblies, which will be available individually.

The legs were sculpted without knee pads, so they will have wider scope for use. Also the pockets on the arms are more generic looking on the actual casts (these have been modified) again, so they can have a slightly wider scope for use.

Lastly, I know that I've done this figure loads of times already, but I think this one is nicer looking than the other versions I've made ; )
