Oops! I was making an image of pouring water and got a little careless. Nevertheless, Ronda thought this was one of the best! Strobist info: A YN-600Exii connected to the camera with a flash cord acted as optical master and a YN-568EX acted as a slave. Both flashes were positioned behind the glass and fired at 1/32 power through 2 diffusion panels.

If you're having trouble with the new homepage, there's a new GreaseMonkey script that helps to overcome the major frustration with viewing recent activity: See it here
More information here
Quote:
The purpose of this greasemonkey script is to add separate links to activities on the users own pictures and to activities on pictures from others which he commented.
The following links are added:
* In the activity page there are now links named "mine" and "others" in the header of this page.
* In the "You" menu the entry "Recent Activity" was renamed to "Recent Activity (new)" and the entries "Recent Activity" and "Comments You've Made" have been added. These links behave similar to the previously existing links before the user interface changes.
If you use this script and think that it is helpful, then I kindly ask you to visit my photostream steffeni and leave some comments on my photos.

Poor old 'Atlas' didn't seem to have much luck and there's no need to add any more to this photograph taken at Cardiff Canton on 16th September 1979, other than 47082 did live to tell the tale for many more years, but finally succumbed when it caught fire at Colwyn Bay (as Virgin Trains 47750) on 15th June 2004. Introduced to service as D1667 in March 1965 and initially allocated to Swansea's Landore depot, it remained a loyal South Wales-allocated loco until 1984, when reclassified and renumbered to 47626 and reallocated to Old Oak Common TMD. Following its fire, it was placed into store (WNXX) and was finally cut up by EMR Kingsbury in May 2008 in the guise of 47750, which it had carried since January 1996.

On the dark and stormy night of October 25, 1906, the Peter Iredale; a four-masted, 2,000 ton., 285 ft. long, steel barque sailing vessel, ran aground on the Oregon coast a few miles south of the mouth of the Columbia River. It would be the ship's last voyage.
Today, what little remains of it has become a popular tourist attraction. - Fort Stevens State Park, Oregon
