Found this really odd flowering plant in San Antonio, which after some research I identified as a "Stinking Passionflower", Passiflora foetida.
The flower pods have these weird spiky tendrils around them.

You know that feeling when sensing you are in the wrong place? I had that feeling on this Newmarket to Cambridge bus... I didn't even have a bus pass and was the only passenger who had to pay. I'll take the train next time ~ all sorts of odd balls on there!

** On each child's block, I placed information about their first year on each side. On two different sides I put a picture of them on the day they were born and at 1 year old. Then on three separate sides I placed information on their growth, their "firsts" (first smile, first step, etc.) and information about their birth (date, time, weight, etc.) On the last side I placed their name. Since I only have 2 children, the 3rd block is purely decorative.
I have never, ever in my life seen the word "market" transliterated as 孖結 ("ma-git"). I mean, it makes sense but market is rarely transliterated, period.

I guess s/he is just dying for having Halloween in her/his boring days, and imposing wonderous imagination upon the color of the dancers' clothing. However, showing the tongue is a conventional way to scare away and frighten your enemy for Maori people; an honorary gesture. The reporter's commont is just as odd as the plates hanging on the air where these dancers are hosted. Why don't they have a picture in the open air?
