Poetic performer Odd?Rod visits Mount Aloysius College one winter evening.
The start of my 3-D design project in art class. We have to incorporate a face into the pieces somehow. It's coming along really good, and it'll be able to be hung on a wall when it's done. It looks like an abstract African Mask.

Gilmour has odd coloured eyes. It's quite clear when you see him, but surprisingly difficult to capture in photographs. It's not a major difference like one brown and one blue, much more subtle - his left eye is paler than his right. Another defect, just like his silly floppy ears! View large to see his eyes properly.

I've noticed that when 2 coots fight, the coots around them swim away while flashing the two white batches of feathers on their rump. Don't know why yet. It is not breeding season and both genders do this. Not sure if it is a sign of alarm, or appeasement. This is a close up of a coot leaving the scene of a fight while flashing the white.

One of these is not like the others...Couldn't get any closer. Cropped. Perhaps a blue morph snow goose? Slightly smaller than the Canada geese he seems to have joined up with, and was the only odd man out.
I have no idea what I was doing in this picture, but both the fish and I ended up with odd expression. But then, that might be the fish’s normal expression. Since this is the preferred shot of the two people I asked (even over my preferred shot) I decided to choose it as the self-portrait of the day.

I've seen dots at the end of mouths before, but this face-up doesn't even have them close. It looks a bit odd in close-up, although from a distance it isn't bad. Still, I may need to do something about that.

While walking back to the cable station we spotted a hippo and a tortoise taking in the sunset. In the background the south easter pours cloud down Fountain Ravine.
Ok, another odd visitor to Bombay Hook today. Actually, it could be quite common, this will be my first spring visiting the park. Anyone know what species this is?

The steamer crossing the Hooghly river which separates Howrah ( 500+ years old city ) and Calcutta ( 300+ years old city ).
We went to the Atlanta Zoo with Shawn and Katie. The first animals we saw were very odd looking, as you can tell.
There was a fair number of these flowers on a plant in one of the beds. They seemed quite unusual to me because of the colour of the petals. It looked more like staining and less like it had grown that way. Odd.
