Whilst aboard one of the boats for the Canal tour in Amsterdam, I spotted this odd looking building. it's like a lego piece that was just placed on top of another one. :)
It wasn't until I uploaded this shot onto the laptop that I noticed that a little uninvited guest had snuck in on the picture...well camouflaged and looking like it was missing a couple of legs! A common plant bug from the Miridae family...

Here's the sign for Baxter's Odd Fellows Cemetery. This one was toward the inside of the roll and turned out better.
Shot with Minox GT on Tasma Foto-65 that expired in 1988. Developed 7 minutes in Arista developer at stock strength.
Not sure what kind of bird this was, but there were several gulls hovering over him trying to take his food away.
A clothespin (also clothes peg, or just peg, or in science a spring-loaded wood clamp, and in filmmaking a C47 or bullet) is a fastener used to hang up clothes for drying, usually on a clothes line. Clothespins often come in many different designs.
6-story Anglo-Italianate office building completed in 1848 as a 4-story structure. Designed by Trench & Snook for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, one of the many mutual aid societies and fraternal organizations formed in New York in the 19th century, this was the first such building specifically built for the group. The organization was founded in Manchester, England in 1812. By 1819, they were present in the United States, with their first hall dedicated in Baltimore in 1831.
Not the best picture but I think it's funny. Reminds me of that groundhog. I think she's looking at my flash.
The start of my 3-D design project in art class. We have to incorporate a face into the pieces somehow. It's coming along really good, and it'll be able to be hung on a wall when it's done. It looks like an abstract African Mask.
Gilmour has odd coloured eyes. It's quite clear when you see him, but surprisingly difficult to capture in photographs. It's not a major difference like one brown and one blue, much more subtle - his left eye is paler than his right. Another defect, just like his silly floppy ears! View large to see his eyes properly.

I keep telling myself that I should try to take picture of other things, but I just love flowers so much. :)
I've noticed that when 2 coots fight, the coots around them swim away while flashing the two white batches of feathers on their rump. Don't know why yet. It is not breeding season and both genders do this. Not sure if it is a sign of alarm, or appeasement. This is a close up of a coot leaving the scene of a fight while flashing the white.
