Lola and Pippo spend a lot of time together and are frequent nap buddies. This afternoon when I walked in on them, I'm pretty sure Pippo had his head tucked in against Lola. Warm, fluffy kitty pillow!
A return to my more weirder roots, love the style, cloours and weirdness of this, though also unsure of a proper name too, open to suggestions. Acrylics on card.

Busy day clearing out the garden - finally able to get in it after all the recent rain!!!! Little miss had fun collecting the snails and the homeless snail (Slug!!!!) Love her!!!

A ruby-throated hummingbird (Archilochus colubris) nips at something odd in the Native Flora Garden at BBG. Any idea what it is?
If you look close, you can see that the sign is actually square. Why didn't they do like the rest of America and just custom cut the shape?
Found this really odd flowering plant in San Antonio, which after some research I identified as a "Stinking Passionflower", Passiflora foetida.
The flower pods have these weird spiky tendrils around them.

Two shots- sunshine and shade- of this rather odd-looking Pyralid moth,which we only saw once in France; but it was a good one to get since it's nationally scarce in the UK.
