Les and I were hired to do some photos of Sydney for her composite card for her modelling agency, as well as some photos for her portfolio. Sydney's a 14 year old who has has taken some modelling classes and has signed with a local modelling agency. She's a beautiful girl and I'm sure she'll do well in the industry.

Still kinda iffy on this shot. For the life of me I could not getting my lighting down to how I wanted it. Flickr kinda over-sharpened this one, looked better in photoshop. Anyways, what does everyone think??

I just happened upon this spot many months earlier while trekking a hiking trail which runs parallel to a nearby stream. It was a very serene, somewhat secluded, but lush spot. There's also an abandoned factory of some sort just out of the frame.
So, after purchasing an inexpensive, on-the-go lighting setup for shoots like this I called a friend and client Jemelia to see if she'd be willing to be my test subject for the day. This shot was taken as we were setting up..

I was selected as a finalist for the prestigious Shoot the Chef 2012 competition as part of the Crave Sydney International Food Festival.
The image will be exhibited in Sydney from 4-31 October.
