20/20 I really like the framing in the shot, I think that I could have done more with separating the ball and the rest of the picture.

Objective: Create a 30 second spot with minimum 6 scenes, 2 graphics, and 3 interactions with car. Cars will be shot on white, and actors on green screen.
We had like 2 weeks (so 5ish days) to complete everything. I just finished this today, even though it was due Wednesday. It is pretty much exactly as I had planned it in my head, thought bubbles and corn sign included. I am pleased :) especially after all my trouble, like having to re-shoot a car, recording my voice four times, the situation with motion and final cut, and completing it all on the Day of Silence.

Objective 3: Elements and Principles of Design
The principles of design demonstrated (describe the use):
Movement: The diagonal line in the clouds and the ripples is the water make the picture have a feel of movement, they lead your eyes to the left side of the photo.
Contrast: There is contrast in the photo because the trees separate how the amount of blue in the picture there is so that it can give more depth.
Balance: There is Balance in this picture because the blues in the sky and the water balance out each other to give it an HDR look but it isn’t.
The elements of design demonstrated (describe the use):
Objective 4: Lighting
Type of lighting and why: There is harsh and back lighting because the clouds are being light at the back and then they go dark underneath so the clouds have more depth and it is one of the subjects. There is harsh lighting because it is really bright and the sun is hitting the lake and making it have a very bright glare of it.
Objective 5: Post Production (ex. dust/spot removal, resize, contrast, white balance, sharpening, borders, etc.)
Corrections/adjustments made AND/OR techniques applied: Some corrections I could have made are that I could have made a smaller apperature so that it let in less light, and it didn’t have such harsh lighting. I could have added a border so that it added more to the picture. The trees in the picture are also really dark, and I could have lightened them up, so that you could see some of their colour more.
Objective 7: Photographic Styles (ex. portrait, landscape, etc.) – Explain why the settings and composition are appropriate for the style of photography. (How did you create the shot?) You do NOT need to do Objective 2 if you are handing in this objective.

Exposure compensation: I used Manual mode so that I was picking my settings so the exposure compensation is irrelevant to my shot.
Focal length:18mm
Objective 2: Creative Exposure
The camera mode (P, Tv, Av, M) and why I chose it: Av to I could control the aperture.
F stop used and why: 5.6 so I would have a shallow depth of field.
Shutter speed used and why: Chosen for me because of Av mode.
ISO used and why: 100 because it was a bright day outside so I need to be high.
Exposure compensation and why it was used: I didn’t think it needed to be changed so 0.
Focal length and why: 41mm to zoom in on the shirts to get less of the background and less clutter of other items around.
Objective 3: Elements and Principles of Design
Line: there is a diagonal which gives it a sense of movements and it also a leading line; it draws your eye down the photo
Colour: The tie-dye has analogous colours. The warm colours of the tie-dye shirts on a cooler background give the photo a sense of peacefulness and harmony.
Space: The negative space of the grass helps bring out the positive space of the tie-dye shirts by drawing the eye to it.
Texture: The photo has a rough texture. The concrete has a bunch of pebbles and the shirts have a bunch of ripples which make the photo rough.
Emphasis: Background is clutter free and the focal point is of the item of interest.
Repetition/ pattern: There is a repetition of shirts going down the concrete barrier and the rocks in the concrete are a pattern to.
Unity: The back ground fits with the foreground and all the colours together create a sense of harmony and completeness.
Objective 4: Lighting
The lighting was hard lighting because the sun was out but there were a few clouds so it wasn’t as hard as it could have been.
Objective 5: Post Production (ex. dust/spot removal, resize, contrast, white balance, sharpening, borders, etc.)
Curve was used to give it more bold vivid colours.
Resized was used to make the file smaller and easier to move around.
Sharpening was used to make lines stand out more, make things bolder.
Objective 6: Critique
I wish I used a different angle, maybe down lower and to the side more. I wish I focused on a different spot and not on the yellow part. I like how there’s so much colour
In line with FAO's Strategic Objective 1 (SO1) to Help eliminate hunger,
food insecurity and malnutrition, the programme to strengthen the School feeding programme in Jamaica has made some important next steps.
Under the project, Strengthening the School Feeding Programme , in support of the CELAC plan for Food and Nutrition Security and Hunger Eradication by 2025, 6 pilot schools in Jamaica have been benefitting from varied interventions.
The most recent project input has been the training of canteen staff . In addition to presentations on Food Safety and Sanitation; Basic Nutrition, Recipe Manual; meal planning, preparation and service, representatives from the varied schools also received equipment and tools towards the improvement of their school's canteens and school garden programmes.
The six (6) pilot schools under the programme are:

Counter Terrorism Security Advisors (CTSAs) hosted a Counters Terrorism (CT) Awareness event at The Albert Halls, Bolton.
Among the 200 attendees on Wednesday 2 July were officers and staff from the five north west police forces, local authorities, representatives from NWAS and regional fire services, who through the collaborative partnership provide support to help protect and prepare, should a terrorist threat occur.
Detective Superintendent Alison Whittaker, Head Protect & Prepare for CTPNW opened the event, said: “The objective for the day was to provide attendees with an insight into the current threat and how attack methodology has evolved over the years in the UK, looking at what security advice and guidance is available to them in order to support their local businesses, how to access it and who they can reach out to for further support.
“We need the communities help to deter, detect and disrupt hostile and terrorist activity.”
The speakers at the event included Sergeant Rob Philip from the National Vehicle Threat Mitigation Unit (NVTMU), Alex Ward from NaCTSO; Chief Inspector Matthew Worrell and Inspector Chris Hadfield from GMPs Protective Security Office (PSO); an input from Homeland Security Group (HSG), and our regional CTSAs.
They delivered an insightful and impactful agenda covering Martyn’s Law, Hostile Vehicle Mitigation, Anti-Terrorism Traffic Regulation Orders (ATTRO), Protective Security Advice for Events, CT First Aid, amongst other guidance delivered.
Bolton Council’s Cabinet Member for Stronger Communities, Cllr Rabiya Jiva, said: “I was pleased Bolton Council could host the training event for specialists from the national counter terrorism network, blue light partners and local authorities from across the northwest.
“We hold several major cultural events in Bolton, including the nationally renowned Bolton Food and Drink Festival, so it is important to share expertise to prioritise safety and security.
“It was also good to see Project Servator officers deployed in the town centre to showcase the policing tactic while providing a reassuring presence for the public.
”Chief Inspector Lee Parker of Greater Manchester Police said: “A really informative and well set out event, highlighting the real need to understand the complexities of Counter Terrorism and the work continuously needed to mitigate the threat and risks involved.”
Erika Corless, who attended for North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) NHS Trust, said: “The day was absolutely relevant to my role within the emergency services, I will be looking to access some of the ACT learning materials for our staff.”
The session was supported by Janice McMahon from Steroplast Healthcare, provider of PAcT public access trauma first aid kits, and GMP’s Project Servator team.
Project Servator is a policing tactic used by a number of UK police forces.
It aims to disrupt a range of criminal activity, including terrorism, while providing a reassuring presence for the public.
It is an inclusive collaborative community strategy that aims to protect local areas and build upon the safety and security plans already in place to ensure safety and security.
The Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) campaign encourages communities to help tackle terrorism by reporting suspicious behaviour and activity that doesn't feel right.

The workshop objective is to get more people to understand and using Webmaker for their web making purposes. The project intended to educating young (15-25 years old) internet users on using Webmaker through a series of workshop scheduled during weekends in Jakarta. This workshop series will be a pilot project, in bringing more people to use Webmaker in Indonesia. Platform of this workshop series, can be duplicated in other cities, should the pilot series garnered enough participants.
I have been taking so many photos and learning so much since starting school!
This project was to attempt and take an objective self portrait, which is of course impossible.

Trainer John Meagher is enjoying a stellar season and he picked up another treble when Lim’s Objective took out the $125,000 Open Class Stakes over 1200 metres on Sunday.
Lim’s Objective recorded the time of 1.09.0, which equalled the short course 1200 metre record held by North Boy when successful in the 2002 KrisFlyer International Sprint.
Well supported to run a $37 chance, Lim’s Objective, ridden by Adam Fiezan, recorded a soft two-and-a-half length victory over Sagittarius (Sheryl Cheam) with Singapore’s champion sprinter Why Be (Jacky Low) a head away in third place.
The pace was furious up front with Why Be being pressured in front by Helium (John Sundradas) ahead of Bambaazon (Din Azis) and Ace And Aces (Saimee Jumaat).
It was a similar story to the home turn with Fiezan back on the fence biding his time.
Once into the straight, Why Be quickly shook off Helium but he was not able to get away from the trailing bunch as is his custom and it was noticeable that Lim’s Objective was the one who was finishing powerfully on the inside.
Fiezan took Lim’s Objective through to hit the lead with 100 metres to run and the jockey was able to sit up and allow the son of O’Reilly to coast home to an easy victory.
Meagher has Group 1 Singapore Derby plans with Lim’s Objective. The race is still three months away and Meagher won’t be rushed into running the gelding.
“He’s a good horse. A decent horse,” Meagher said.
“He got in beautifully at the weights today, but I’m going to race him sparingly through to the Derby.”
Sunday’s victory was Lim’s Objective’s eighth from his 13 starts and took his prizemoney past the $900,000 for the Lim’s Stable.
Lim’s Objective had a solid three-year-old season and his 2007 year ended when he bled when running ninth behind Recast in the Group 1 Singapore Gold Cup over 2200 metres last November.
“He won the Raffles Cup before that and deserved his chance in the Singapore Gold Cup,” Meagher said.
“I’m going to train him differently this time. I’ll look after him. Train him patiently all the way through to the Derby.”
Fiezan was ecstatic with the win of Lim’s Objective describing him as one of the best horses he has ridden.
“The fast pace suited him,” Fiezan said. “I didn't do anything him, just sat quiet at the back and he just flew in. What a horse!
“All credit to John for producing this horse first-up for such an effort. It was just another great training performance from him and his team.”
