Fantastic graphic design from the 1960's -

This is a prototype object I made of wood, ceramic and thread. I'm very happy with it!Now I have to realize it in porcelain. This will take some time, making molds ect.ect.I will keep you informed. dimensions: 14cm round and 20cm lenght

I composed the photo this way to show one of the many steps for an average woman's daily routine. It's trying to show a woman about to put on lip stick. What makes it interesting is the kiss mark on the paper and having the actual lip stick container behind. I'm trying to get a more of a lovely feeling intimate feeling. I used a white and kind of bluish backkground for this. I chose a shutter speed of 1/200 so the paper in the background wouldn't show movement.I also opened my aperture to let light in. The iso was at 800 to get a little bluish for contrast.

I took this picture for a few reasons. First off, I'm an avid sports fan and have a great love and passion for them. With hockey just starting to fire up I figured a picture involving the Minnesota Wild would be very fitting. They also have a really cool logo, which makes this picture even better. I also thoroughly enjoy my rum, and seeing as I moonlight as a pirate, as well as play a mean Jack Sparrow I figured this is a fitting picture. I also took this picture, because it emphasizes that life long question..."Why is the rum always gone?". This picture is basically as is. A sort of what you see is what you get. It's really fun being behind the lens and I look forward to seeing everybody's pictures for this assignment and future ones!

found object: JANE & JANE

Walking along PACIFIC HEIGHTS after yet another SFIFF movie....ADDA looked down and found this yellow sticky paper with the name JANE...

of course, HAD to take a photo of it...

ADDA walked away and then a woman & her guy pal walked up to the same spot and took a photo of the same FOUND ITEM

well, its kinda surprise that anyone would photo any junk on the streets... if ADDA can lead his fellow flickr pals to a new photo op....

so just as MOSES parting the red sea...ADDA will open the creative flood gates of flickr...(hahaha )

ADDA didnt disturb the shoot...then approached the couple to get the FYI...

It so happens...that the beautiful woman's name is ...JANE...and she takes photos of various found objects with her camera phone...she proceeded to show me some cool stuff...

WOW...so, if you are out there JANE...big hug 2 u both

Exactly a minute from my hotel there's a temporary location of a Warsaw museum of Contemporary Art. They have some interesting things on a public display. Here's one of them.

Pop Objects and Icons from the Guggenheim Collection

Pioneered in Europe in the late 1950s, the American Pop art movement took off after finding support from critics such as Guggenheim curator Lawrence Alloway. Encouraged by the economic vitality and consumerist culture following World War II, artists including Roy Lichtenstein, Claes Oldenburg, and Andy Warhol explored the image world of popular culture and took inspiration from advertisements, pulp magazines, billboards, movies, television, and comic strips. This focused exhibition demonstrates various artists’ engagement with Pop art and the Guggenheim's ongoing interest in the legacy of the style.
