M81 group

. The famous constellation Ursa Major brings very spectacular objects. In this area you can see interesting individual galaxies, but also groups of galaxies. In Ursa Major (top right) you can find the M81 galaxy, and a group of galaxies belonging to the M81 region. If you look deeper into that part of the sky - you will notice a lot of galaxies in deep space. In this area you can find about 60 galaxies belonging to the M81 group. Seven large galaxies dominate the region, and some are well known in astronomy. NGC 2366 is an irregular galaxy in which you can see many newly formed stars. There is also the second largest galaxy - NGC 2403.

Spherical dwarf galaxy

But here I want to write about a spherical dwarf galaxy - PGC 29388. It is 12 million light years away from us. As the name suggests, this is a dwarf galaxy that does not dominate that space, although it may seem so (picture). Dwarf galaxies contain far fewer stars than average-sized galaxies. It is also estimated that the spherical dwarf galaxy PGC 29388 contains 100 million to several billion stars. Dwarf spheroid galaxies have a large spectrum of brightness, and the interaction with larger galaxies has a strong effect on their activity. In conclusion, the galaxy PGC 29388 is small compared to other galaxies - with far fewer stars. Very beautiful for observers. Therefore, and worth finding. A beautiful galaxy. Above that, a very distant galaxy.

Here is further experimentation of the shape idea of my object project. This is a mono print where I used the same shape only with different type of colour experimentation.
