Missed it last night but I was ready tonight. Took this shot a little over an hour ago from street level.

Late night WTC view from West Broadway. It was close to midnight so the spire lighting of the WTC was off when I took this picture. With the fog at the top I would've preferred the spire to be lit.
Here's an old shot from January '05. Take notice of the ice on the river. It was very cold that week.
Hump days should be special . . . Shouldn’t they ?!? My way of reviving high school tradition. ♥️ . . . And seating on top of the Brooklyn Bridge facing NYC it’s like being on top of the world 💙♥️

A dramatic New York City sunset casting golden light behind the iconic Empire State Building and the leaning towers of the American Copper Buildings. Shot from the East River, the skyline forms a bold silhouette against the glowing sky, capturing the moment when architecture and atmosphere align.
The Empire State Building and One Vanderbilt side by side. Don't let the perspective fool you, the ESB is not taller than One Vanderbilt & they are further away from each other than they appear to be in the picture.
Clear sky Golden Hour sunset taken from the remnants of the Cranberry Street Pier in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

After moving out NYC long time ago, I were back to there first time at last weekend. Right now, you will feel safe at night, because there are the police patrols in the park area, also more tourists too.

I'll be sharing a few photographs of the skyline of NYC over a stretch of time. Here is the first image of this series.

Close up of the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, my favourite place in New York, hope you like it in black & white?
Brooklyn Bridge was the first fixed crossing of the East River opened in 1883. It was also the longest suspension bridge in the world at the time of its opening, with a main span of 1,595.5 feet (486.3 m) and a deck 127 ft (38.7 m) above mean high water. The span was originally called the New York and Brooklyn Bridge or the East River Bridge but was officially renamed the Brooklyn Bridge in 1915.
⠀
The Brooklyn Bridge is the southernmost of four toll-free vehicular bridges connecting Manhattan Island and Long Island, with the Manhattan, Williamsburg, and Queensboro bridges to the north. Only passenger vehicles and pedestrian and bicycle traffic are permitted. A major tourist attraction since its opening, the Brooklyn Bridge has become an icon of New York City.
Nothing in this world compares to NYC, NOTHING! You could walk a lifetime in these streets and still not see everything it has to offer. People either hate or love NYC but the city never seems to care about that it just keeps it pushing while minding its own business.
This shot is a cropped 35mm frame. I actually zoomed in by mistake while editing and was surprised on how much more interesting the picture had become. Keeping things simple is the way, things are not as fun when you overthink.
ZOOM in for some cool detail 😉

Background:
Little about the background of this picture. I was waiting for an hour to capture this. The sun was too bright with no clouds. Just waiting for perfect moments. First I captured 3 exposure shots. Then I show a lot of lens flare. Then take one more picture covering the sun so that there wouldn't be any lens flare. Then I capture a long exposure of 210 sec for the water. Finally, all the images are digitally blended with photoshop.
