Checking out the window displays in Rome

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive. - Howard Thurman

Last month I spent some time with my family in India. We travelled to Kuttikanam a village which is 3500 feet above sea level and is surrounded by lush green tea planatations. We did a bit of hiking around the area walkled though the forest, tea plantations and you can literarily touch the clouds. So over the next few days I will share some photos of my trip. Just sorting out 600 photos on my hard drive. Here is is the first one to begin with.

This is taken at Valanjamkanam Waterfalls which is located near the Kuttikanam . Water was flowing rapidly thanks to the recent surge of rainy season in India. Feel free to share

I'm hoping LEGO will come out with this piece.. I actually would need it for several models that I have right now. A 1x4 modified plate with horizontal grips. This needs to exist >,<

Tai-Le is available for adoption at Woods Humane Society in San Luis Obispo. He's really affectionate, outgoing, and stunningly handsome. However, he needs daily treatment which includes tooth brushing. If you are up to the task, check him out at Woods. He's a real catch!

Fortunately the car had found its way to Senter Family Auto Repair, the one business in town that could perhaps fix it....

My car got new tires last November 19. I dropped it off at Senter's early in the morning and walked the three blocks home. I (of course) took a few photos as I walked.

A couple hours later they called. I walked back to their place to retrieve the newly-shod car. As I walked I took a few more pix.

And that was what she often felt the need of - to think;

well, not even to think. To be silent; to be alone.

All the being and the doing, expansive, glittering, vocal, evaporated;

and one shrunk, with a sense of solemnity, to being oneself.

When life sank down for a moment, the range of experience seemed limitless."

Needs to floss.

She started out as Skinny The Stray.

My wife named her Kizzy because of her meow.

She was briefly Kizzy Rotund as she had plenty to eat..

Then Kizzy the Flatulent as she adjusted to having plenty to eat.

Then Kizzy the Loved because she is loved.
