Who needs paddock-mates when you've got a view like this?
After three days of wind and rain (and a few other unmentionables), it was nice to wake up to a clear, calm morning and rediscover that Mt Taranaki does indeed still exist.
One of the old windows I came across.
Although it was falling apart, it had some colour left on it.
Also I had the bonus of the birds sitting there.

I found this old house in Northumberland County, Virginia. It looks like the second floor porch has fallen off and it is missing a few boards and windows. It needs a little paint and some landscaping. Other than that though, it seems fine!
Who needs sunny weather when you can get such a sky instead.
Looking over Uxavatn to Skjaldbreiður. Geographically already in the Highlands although still accessible with a 2WD.
This mesmerizing view from the city of Taif, located approximately 2000 meter above sea level. The city is blessed with beautiful mountain valley view enhancing the beauty of the landscape. The mountains here are solid rocky and the climate is pleasant throughout the year.
The visit was planned to take this photo but when the camera was ready to take photo the atmosphere got filled with beautiful white foggy clouds and nothing was visible after 5 meter of distance. It was disheartening and disappointing but later in night the sky got clear for very small period of time and this photo was taken.
Photography needs patience and patience gives you good result.

It needs just a little to fill a photograph with emotions. A small rock surrounded by woodlands where the morning fog is ascending und the sun while it is just leaving the horizon. You don't need more, at the end you need even less than that. To photograph things like that is already quite good but to whitness a moment like that is much more impressive.
Es bedarf nur sehr wenig um ein Bild mit Emotion zu füllen. Ein kleiner Felsen umringt von Wäldern aus denen der Morgennebel aufsteigt und die Sonne, wie sie gerade den Horizont verlässt. Mehr ist nicht nötig, am Ende braucht es sogar noch weniger. So etwas zu fotografieren hat schon was, es zu beobachten ist noch um einiges beeindruckender.

Each of my days begin with a quest for joy, a search that varies in difficulty. Today, it was a ranunculus blossom that delivered a smile.
These flowers, with their almost impossibly perfect, rose-like blooms and tissue-thin petals, are a visual delight.
Their spectrum of colors, from soft creams to vibrant burgundies, is simply breathtaking. While often reserved for high-end arrangements and bridal bouquets, their exquisite beauty has the power to transform an ordinary day into something special.

Crane birds (বক, সারস) are searching for food when tractor is ploughing the field. Snails, earthworms etc comes out as a result of ploughing. Now is the monsoon season in India when most cultivation occurs. As a result of use of machinery people are loosing job. This has become a great problem in our country.

Stucco contractor Norman Hudson shows Bob Dass's Flickr photos to general contractor at the new Fountaingrove project. To see Norman's tablet, you need to go to the fieldofview.com link. Just kidding. fieldofview is not that powerful.
The second Fountaingrove project is being scaffolded all around with Norman's own scaffold, but the actual stucco work will not start for a while yet, as the carpentry needs to be finished.
