Phoebe, Sapphire and Zeus snuggled together for a Sunday afternoon nap.
As of 03Aug10 Phoebe still has not given birth to her kitties. We can feel the kittens moving in her belly, but no signs of an impending birth as of yet.

NOTE: Sapphire is much smaller than Zeus and Phoebe; it is the camera lens angle that makes Sapphire look so much bigger in this photo.
04Sept10 - Sapphire has been adopted to a very loving home in the North part of the County.

my kids never fall asleep randomly. I was shocked to find her napping here at my mom's house like this.
A very rare sight for JJ !!! Normally he is bouncing off the walls but today he actually took a little nap! OK, it was only a five minute nap, but still, I was worried for a minute, it is sooo rare for him!

This is Carlton. Yes, Carlton. Carlton is staying with us for a few days while his owner is out of town. In this shot, Carlton demonstrates that cat-naps can be had anywhere, anytime.
Rags taking a nap on the verandah. He is doing all right now, although he sometimes still seems to be missing Snow White. Luckily he has Caithlin to keep him company.

Sleeping on a bench or in some other suitable spot outside is not a sign of homelessness in China, but responding to the natural urge for a little rest at noon no matter where you happen to be. This is the perfect spot though...
On our trip back from the maritimes our GPS sent us through downtown Montreal with stop, stop and sort of go traffic.
Got through that then saw a traffic jam ahead of us. Managed to get off at an exit which was right beside us.
Ended up at a small zoo, the Ecomuseum Zoo.
The animals were all native to the area and were injured animals that could not be released into the wild.
Don't know this barn owl's story but it looked like it was having a nap.
