There seems to be some confusion over whether the halt here is called Nappers Crossing or Nappers Halt.
This timetable, showing the only two trains to stop there in 2007, calls it Nappers Crossing, but the sign on the 'platform' names it Nappers Halt.
I suspect the level crossing is Nappers Crossing, and the halt is Nappers Halt.

I also suspect some connection between George Napper, railway porter living at Newton Abbot in 1881, with this crossing. Was he the crossing keeper?
