Judging from the look on its face, I feel like I may have disturbed this coyotes nap time. I had no idea it was there until it calmly walked around the hay bale to check out what was across the field cussing to itself and trying to attach a lens hood (me).

What I like about the photo (aside from its such a cool bird to see close up!), is that it captures the "treatment" (liitle holes) the sapsucker is applying to the tree -possibly to creatte a good environment to attrack insects that it will later come back and eat,

Subject: In the popular social networks, the cat is the flattering subject par excellence, the one which can make you have a lot of likes and honeydripping comments from true and fake friends. I realized that my portfolio was lacking cats, so here it is one catching its forty winks on a window-sill (and catching the attention of all my followers, I hope). By the way, this image was taken with a very cheap point-and-shoot camera: hence, when shooting cats for your favourite social network, you have no excuses for taking ugly pictures.

Bears nap and relax during the day and spend the night-time looking for food. When autumn hits, bears see it as a signal that they need to stock up on food before the winter begins. Gone are those summer naps and, instead, bears spend up to 20 hours a day in the autumn eating. That leaves just a handful of hours to sleep.

Nap time after some playing with his favourite ball. Cooper just loves this ball. Can withstand cold, rain, sleet, it's practically indestructible. When he feels neglected and wants to play, he will bring it to me, drop it and wag his tail.

I fully expected to choose a Henry Picture today - as Zachary doesn't usually "do" Relaxed, but my boy surprised me today and IMHO nailed it.
Yes, I could quibble about his semi-pricked ears and open eyes, but I won't.
For Zachary during a photo shoot, this is about as relaxed as it's ever going to get.

This is Elmo, mum & dad's burmese boy. Sometimes (usually when he wants something) he can be wonderfully affectionate, but the rest of the time he is an ignorant and arrogant cat. This coming from I, who loves cats!!

They are sexually dimorphic with males having a distinctive black patch on the back of the head and a narrow black half collar ("necklace") while the female is duller and lacks the black markings.

TRIVIA - There are actually FOUR ponies standing in this photo. I have a photo taken from the back that validates this. I have looked at this pic, counted the legs, figured the angle, etc. - yet the 4th pony seems invisible from this angle.
