Assam taking a nap on the floor next to my computer desk in California in May of 2016. At this time, our other six cats were in Japan and Assam was the only cat in California. She enjoyed the situation thoroughly - she always wanted to be the only cat... She was disappointed when she moved to Hokkaido and saw the other six cats but quickly re-established her dominance over them.
This old fox is estimated to be about 12 years old which is amazing as foxes in the wild have a life expectancy of about 5 years. He has been found and photographed by many and is very accustomed to people, so it was no surprise when he simply decided to lay down for a nap in our presence.

Karen, like me, has stamina issues. She can't go for more than 45 minutes without having a nap. This is one such nap in a furniture shop. She fucking loves furniture the saucy bitch!
There's a tiger park outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand, where these gorgeous animals are bred, raised and trained. At first I didn't want to go because I'd heard that a similar place in Thailand drugs the animals. I was assured once I got there this isn't the case, and I saw no evidence of anything other than TCL.
These cubs are 4-6 months old. We saw them playing like kittens, running, leaping, and tackling each other. Then they dropped to nap in the shade.
Everyone has asked us what tiger fur feels like. It's coarser in texture than I'd anticipated, and it lays quite flat, like a rug. The individual hair shafts don't lift up like a dog's would when you move your hand across them.
