I really couldn't name my favorite part of Toby, but the light fur along his nose will do.
And I think I used something from each of the previous projects in this -- rule of thirds, exposure control to get depth of field, and black and white.

We have two nicely padded sofas, 3 padded chairs and two full size beds. Where does Natasha choose to nap? On a folding chair with a reusable grocery bag on it. Cat logic I guess.
It also explains why the grocery bagger, who's allergic to cats, had a sneezing attacks while bagging my groceries.

Today was great, busy and fun.
I went and laid in extremely tall snakey grass to my dismay.
Serioulsy, I was walking out the door with my camera and my dad said "watch for snakes" :/ as if I wasn't worried about it enough. Then he said we needed to get me some snake boots.... wouldn't that be photographic!
I'm not kidding though..if I had them I would wear them.
luckily I didn't run into any serpants. However I about freaked out when a deer ran off from beside me. It sounded like a tree fell next to me.
But that was all!
We got new blankets for the bed and my cat decided we did so just for him. At least he's nice enough to share.
“I’m not sleepy.”
“Then just close your eyes and pretend to take a nap.”
One minute later: “Zzzzzzzzz”

One from our February trip to Yellowstone.....we were returning to the park after breakfast in Gardiner mid-morning one day and noticed a small group of elk laying in a field not far from the North Entrance. All of them were sleeping....either laying down or sitting up with their eyes closed. We had to do a double take of this one to make sure it was, in fact, alive.....sweet wintertime dreams :-)

I watched these guys nap for around half an hour. I had quietly snuck into position (Of course they heard me, but in Cades Cove, they didn't care.) and was sitting with my back against a tree and they didn't seem to care that I existed. Then a young mother and her daughter came running into the woods so she could get a cell phone picture of her kid within about 30 feet of them with the kid's back to the deer. Needless to say, the deer did not stick around.
It's a shame how little respect so many people have for the wildness of wild animals.
Samara and Edith are both fond of naps...Fortunately, Samara is more than willing to share her blanket. :)
I was getting very tired picking my own cherries today. Then I saw this guy taking a nap under the cherry trees. That must be the best spot.
