Nap Time on one of those really really hot sunny days we've been having lately.
Madison Sq Park, NYC
My biggest problem seems to be capturing the feeling in a photograph, but this time I think I've nailed it. This is my cat taking a Sunday afternoon nap. He just laying there snoozing with his paws outstretched in a very comfy position. Why can't I sleep this soundly?
This little fox kit wanted to nap so bad, but couldn't take his eyes off his siblings playing in the rocks.

running round the couch and sniffing everything is very tiring. You need to take a nap....
* that , by the way, is the throw we have over the couch to protect it from ratpee.... they are actually not allowed under there... sigh
Baby napping in her rocking chair, with her paw over her eyes to block the strong afternoon sun. She does this every day without fail.
Mom put Nethanel in the bed for some quality time and go figure he fell asleep :-) Doesn't he just look like a little boy
Black-naped Oriole
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Black-naped Oriole (Oriolus chinensis) is a bird of the oriole family and is found in many parts of Asia. There are several distinctive populations within wide distribution range of the species and in the past the Slender-billed Oriole (Oriolus tenuirostris) was included as a subspecies. Unlike the Golden Oriole which only has a short and narrow eye-stripe, the Black-naped Oriole has the stripe broadening and joining at the back of the neck. Males and females are very similar although the wing lining of the female is more greenish. The bill is pink and is stouter than in the Golden Oriole.
