That's me taking the photo, as the sun was setting. The yellow-lit building at left is Riverside Church, on 116th Street. The main wall belongs to the Interchurch Center, a blockish sort of building sometimes known as "The God Box."
Looking out at six pm the Tree shining in the late afternoon sun draw me out of the house towards Steve House and Garden, again.

Its s glorious, clear early morning and in the nearby park where kaffir lilies are finishing their bloom. I had a lovely 'It's a good day to die' moment with the camera. This is not a morbid thought! Perhaps this shows my true self! I think 'she' looks like this.... heading through the flowers & toward the light.

Tree Sprite and Tree hugger...thats me!
Favorite time of day is when the shadows are long and the light is rosy...I find creating shadow photos one of the most joyous creative activites I can do outdoors. Its so playful, and intriguing.
Its challenging to take interesting and meaningful shadow portraits of one's self . I am thinking of bringing tripod and learning how to use the timer on this camera.
Any ideas would be welcomed.

9/11 Remembering the Victims and the Families of those who lost their lives.
This is the Memorial Wall in front of New York New York Casino in Las Vegas.... My Shadow and I spent quite a bit of time here reading all the tributes to the brave Firemen who lost their lives in their brave efforts to save others.
