My feet aren't on the ground and I'm not moving - they're clicked into the pedals and I have to lean into the wind gusts a little.
Me on the Appalacian Trail between Little Haystack Mtn and Mt Lincoln in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Another few rainy days have passed, the sun is back. Time to celebrate the afternoon shadows with a Gesture: random shot with camera held high! Yay!!!
This is a wider view taken from underneath the Portage Lake Bridge in Hougrton, MI in the Upper MI Peninsula. The bridge photos were the last that I took of the photos while I was there. Because of a woman who will go nameless who got in my way when I was trying to take photos of the bridge from the bow of the boat, The Keweenaw Star, when we were on the 2 days of cruising, I wasn't able to get as many photos of it as I wanted. I did get some, but the ones on the 2nd day of the cruise when we were getting into Houghton just about the beginning of sunset, were ruined!
I also wanted to finish the film that was left in 1 of my cameras so that I would have an empty camera on the plane rides home, wouldn't have to be concerned about the high voltage x-ray machines at the airport ruining any film and could include it in the box of used and unused film that I was sending home the next morning before we left the hotel.
Recently I have been having a real spell of shadow dancing because of a health condition.
I have created a blogg-ish web page which I am keeping very private, but if you are a contact of mine and want to read the words and see the images of this 'journey on a healing path,' send me a note with your email address and let me know and I will send you an invitation to my page.
Please, instead of writing to me with concern, take that time and imagine me sitting with you and your favorite outdoor place where we relax and enjoy each other and everything is fine! We do know how powerful images are in our Flickr community. Make one in your imagination and meet me there. Thank you, dear friends.

Oh the joys of not having to go back to work until next week! The simple things like getting up and staring at one's shadow for a few minutes, scratching one's head while contemplating going back to bed, and then snapping a shot of said shadow because there's nothing more important to be done just then. Yay!
