9/11 Remembering the Victims and the Families of those who lost their lives.

This is the Memorial Wall in front of New York New York Casino in Las Vegas.... My Shadow and I spent quite a bit of time here reading all the tributes to the brave Firemen who lost their lives in their brave efforts to save others.

June 18 - Tomorrow Craig, Ted and I are off to Australia with our shadows in tow...

for a bit of a holiday. We'll be catching up with a couple of old friends and I'm sure I'll be taking lots of photos...

I hope the sun is kind to our shadows and lets them come out to play too!

So I'll be offline until July 5th. It will seem a bit strange, as I've gotten so used to my Flickr time and the lovely network of friends and creative stimulus that it has brought me over the past few months.

If I get the chance to pop in for a look I will.... otherwise... see you all next month! %-)

... isn't that the priority at a bar/restaurant??

Something I feel.

You are an angel, or maybe you could've been.

Words can not describe the morning I had. I spent time in town at our local art museum - in the gardens section only, before anyone annoying could arrive and make noise. Very peaceful. There is a 300+ year old live oak in the gardens I am so in love with. This is one of it's roots. None of my photos today really rocked my socks off, but I am at peace and the greens in nature are some of my very favorites!

i took this for number one hundred and six of my 365 project. inspired near midnight to take this foto, i missed the day by some minutes.

oops!

enjoy.

Out for a walk in the park with my shadow...

There's nothing like a walk in the park...

catching the afternoon light amongst the trees...

My shadow was playing games with me...

One minute she was there...The next she wasn't...

I had told her about fathomless7's wonderful shadow shot yesterday...

And was determined to get one today to show him and his shadow...

So after much teasing..

She decided she'd play the game...

Especially for you Tony! %-)

Here too is a flashback to December 6th 1991...
