Tree Sprite and Tree hugger...thats me!
Favorite time of day is when the shadows are long and the light is rosy...I find creating shadow photos one of the most joyous creative activites I can do outdoors. Its so playful, and intriguing.
Its challenging to take interesting and meaningful shadow portraits of one's self . I am thinking of bringing tripod and learning how to use the timer on this camera.
Any ideas would be welcomed.

9/11 Remembering the Victims and the Families of those who lost their lives.
This is the Memorial Wall in front of New York New York Casino in Las Vegas.... My Shadow and I spent quite a bit of time here reading all the tributes to the brave Firemen who lost their lives in their brave efforts to save others.
Chose the title for this more as an excuse to post this beautiful song. What can I say, I LOVE Damien Rice's music, and could listen to it for hours on end and still never tire of it!!!
Carlos saw this old wrecked, abandoned & decayed car. We drove back to later to photograph it. Unfortunately the sun was not on my side and my shadow appears. My shadows looks like "Alfred Hitchcock Presents." Can you hear the theme music ?
Trying a different perspective ... I waited until the streetcar started to pass since I could hear it coming.
Stewie had to get into the photo too. :o) He tends to follow me around the house when he is not hanging out outside. I guess he just loves his mama. :o)
Took the overwhelming pile of wine and beer bottles to glass recycle today. This is the back of one of the dumpsters. Can I tell you how much I love rusty old things?
Tonight after work I decided I'd go to the mall to do some Xmas shopping...
It's finally dawned on me that It's only a week away...
And I've got so much to do before then...
I think I've been in a state of denial...
My Shadow was smart though...
She disappeared while I was in there...
She has a habit of doing that when I go inside...
She much prefers the outdoors! %-)
Especially when there's a maddening crowd of Xmas shoppers!
I found her wandering around the carpark...
Checking out the afternoon light on this magnificent wall...
A much nicer place to be, we both decided! %-)
Here's another shot of the whole wall, but I preferred this one for the Diary.
Here's a flashback to December 17th 1991...
The original December Diary! %-)
