Next to my apartment yesterday in a welcome burst of sunlight. All Chinese parks and gardens are very organized and nearly militant-looking.

A fun installation at the Corcoran Gallery of Art. That's my shadow to either side of her shadow.

This is one of those fisheye-that-doesn't-look-fishy shots.

The days are getting shorter and my shadow is making a comeback.

Just trying a new angle on things ... I like how this turned out.

Day 21 of the December Diary 2013 Project This years Theme... 'Mirror Image Montages'...

Having another play with my Shadow...

And another attempt to share the Pohutakawa Flowers...

As mentioned in a previous post......

The Pohutakawa is referred to as New Zealands Native Christmas Tree!

They seem to have flowered early this year though...

And unfortunately I've not yet managed to find one in full bloom to share with you! %-)

on a January day in Reykjavik - Vesturbær

Looking down at the edge of Lake Te Anau. My camera strap flies out with the wind.

My shadow reaching uphill towards the man in the middle ... and the lighthouse Reykjanesviti on top. Every size is so abstract. In reality the lighthouse is by far the biggest and my shadow definatly bigger than me ;)

Me and my Shadow

Strolling down the avenue

Me and my shadow

Not a soul to tell our troubles to

And when it's twelve o'clock

We climb the stair

We never knock

For nobody's there

Just me and my shadow

All alone and feelin' blue

And when it's twelve o'clock

We climb the stair

We never knock

For nobody's there

Just me and my shadow

All alone and feelin' blue

My Shadow wanted to have one last appearance for the

December Diary Project...

She wanted to take advantage of the afternoon light...

Trouble is... she couldn't decide which shot she liked best...

She's as indecisive as me at times!!! %-)

On the left she was amused by these little tuffs of greenery...

She thought this looked like a Christmas Tree hat!!!

Then I think she was trying to be a teapot!

Just a bit potty if you ask me! %-)

She also spotted this lovely tree...

And decided to rest for a quiet moment with it's shadow! %-)

Here's a flashback to December 30th 1991...

The original December Diary! %-)

Myself, Miss Carrie Ann Winters, and Larry Haake IV. We are awesome.

My Shadow thinks we ate WAY too much yesterday...

Looking at this photo... I think I'd have to agree with her! %-)

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day...

And were fortunate enough to have a special festive feast...

Shared with those you love! %-)
