Sunday May 10th - Happy Mothers Day!
Sunday is Mothers Day..
So no prizes as to where I'll be spending the day!
My shadow may even rise to the occasion to join me...
She likes to spend time with Mum too!
This is the card I have made Mum for Mothers Day...
The shadow are taken in Mum's bedroom while she was resting, when she wasn't feeling so well a little while ago. Mum had lot of input into these photos, so they hold fond memories and a nice connection of the time we spent together.
The Roses are from her garden. Her favourite Rose in the cute little Jug that she always like to put them in.
So Happy Mothers Day to my Wonderful Mum..
And to all the other Wonderful Mothers out there...
Including my dear friends. XOX
Skaters on a bright cold Saturday morning on Norrviken ("North Lake" near Stockholm. A lap around is about 21 kilometers. This is great exercise. The ice appeared about as thick as big sofa cushion.

My Shadow. Do you remember when you were a child and your shadow did everything that you wanted it to?

My Shadow giving my Car a pat on the back for the December Diary
On the weekend i had to take my car for a Warrant of Fitness...
It comes around every six months...
And I DREAD it almost as much as going to the Dentist...
Sitting... Waiting... Wondering...
Will it pass or will I have to get something fixed...
But she passed with flying colours...
Thank GOODNESS just before Xmas!
She recently clocked a milestone 200,000km on the dial...
So she's had a hard working life.
Craig gave her a clean and some TLC on Sunday for me...
My shadow came out this afternoon for a visit...
And gave her a well earned pat on the back! %-)
Here's a flashback to December 14th 1991...
The original December Diary! %-)
Work is frantically busy at the moment... and I've got a few things on in the evenings this week too... So forgive me if i get a bit behind with the Diary and catching up...

Pawsitively Love... those paws get stepped on quite a bit as my boy is always under foot. Cruise is my shadow, my protector and guardian and in his eyes I am his life love, keeper and provider. He is a part of my shadow. I love my shadow! <3 I thought the below famous message/saying goes with my thoughts here.
That's me taking a picture of my shadow.
My Shadow
From Child's Garden of Verses
"I have a little shadow that goes in and out with me,
And what can be the use of him is more than I can see.
He is very, very like me from the heels up to the head;
And I see him jump before me, when I jump into my bed.
The funniest thing about him is the way he likes to grow--
Not at all like proper children, which is always very slow;
For he sometimes shoots up taller like an india-rubber ball,
And he sometimes goes so little that there's none of him at all.
He hasn't got a notion of how children ought to play,
And can only make a fool of me in every sort of way.
He stays so close behind me, he's a coward you can see;
I'd think shame to stick to nursie as that shadow sticks to me!
One morning, very early, before the sun was up,
I rose and found the shining dew on every buttercup;
But my lazy little shadow, like an arrant sleepy-head,
Had stayed at home behind me and was fast asleep in bed."
