HMS Echo was the first of two multi-role hydrographic survey ships commissioned by the Royal Navy. With her sister ship, HMS Enterprise, they formed the Echo class of survey vessels. She was built by Appledore Shipbuilders in Devon in 2002 and was the ninth Royal Navy vessel to carry the name. She was retired from service in 2022.

Foundries producing medium to very large volumes of castings on high-speed molding lines demand large volumes of prepared sand and maximum productivity from the sand plant. The Simpson Multi-Mull is specifically designed to provide medium to very large volumes of high-quality molding sand on a continuous basis and utilizes the same effective mulling technique as the Simpson Mix-Muller.

I initially converted this photo in B&W using Channel Mixer but I didnt like the result at all. So I decided to a different technique of muting the color instead. I haven't done this technique for a while now and I am happy with the results.

Rocket...the dark side.
Rocket's energy level is very high, so despite the long walks, he sometimes ricochets off the walls shortly after we get home. I can't always walk him for four to five hours as he would like, and limit his walk to an hour or two as I would with a dog on a schedule.
When he hasn't had enough outdoor exercise time, he gets antsy and drives me nuts running up and down the walls in this small apartment, so I play with him. He LOVES wands, so we have several of them and "wand play", it seems, helps to discharge his battery.
I discovered the "wand aggression" sometime ago when I introduced a second wand at he same time he held the first one. While in this video he may seem disturbed, he really isn't. He's "spent" after several minutes into this style of "play"; is totally relaxed afterward and does not redirect the wand aggression toward me; I can stop at any time and pick him up without a problem, but it helps tremendously to unwind him if he doesn't get enough time outside.

A Northbound Canadian National freight on the Leithton Subdivision passing under the Illinois Prairie Path bridge (Elgin Branch) Before 1959 this was an active rail junction with the Chicago Auroroa & Elgin passing over the EJ&E on a bridge structure (long ago removed) and a interchange siding/switches between both lines. Now the new (2010) overhead structure carries the Illinois Prairie Path over the Canadian National, who purchased the EJ&E in Feb 2009
