Adalaj Stepwell, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
Adalaj Stepwell or Rudabai Stepwell is a stepwell located in the village of Adalaj, close to Ahmedabad city and in Gandhinagar district in the Indian state of Gujarat, and considered a fine example of Indian architecture work. It was built in 1498 in the memory of Rana Veer Singh (the Vaghela dynasty of Dandai Des), by his wife Queen Rudadevi.
An old road grader. I see 5 wheels to turn, this is a crank to turn pointing at the camera, a handle to pull behind the center wheel another level or two coming up through the floor plus foot peddles and all of this is done standing up
Jefferson Co. High School welcomed the ladies in with open arms.. They toured the classrooms, were serenaded by the excellent choir, had a short dance party, sampled an american school lunch, and even had a PE class with american students. It was a great day!

In Guacin one of the "pueblo blancos" in Andalucia they have made blank geckos and cats and have given them to the local schoolchildren to decorate on the condition that they put the decorated geckos and cats on the walls of their houses. The businesses have got into the act and have decorated their shops with huge geckos. Makes a wonderful stroll
through the pueblo.
