Motif de Papillon by Salomée Souag is a multi-dimensional public art project at Holgate Library. This project includes wall panel etchings on the outside, elements from the exterior panels inside in the lobby in a large-scale 2-dimensional digital mural, plus a holds locker and elevator wrap. The artwork incorporates patterns from community workshops attended by 150 patrons and neighbors hosted by Salomée.This artwork ensures that library patrons and community members can see themselves woven into the fabric of the building. Salomée is a muralist, designer and creative from Switzerland who holds her Peruvian and Algerian ancestors close to her heart, her community and her work. This piece was created in collaboration with the Regional Arts & Culture Council.

This garden was made by Italian architect Nicola Spinetto. Before the transformation, it was a neglected backyard garden and now it's a wonderful multi-layered landscape. Designed in collaboration with Daniele Mainetti, this layered garden is located at the back of a family home in the town of Chiavari on the Italian Riviera.
This Pop Up Garden give new life to a steep outdoor area. The garden features luscious terraces made from untreated Douglas Fir, a shaded eating area, a small kitchen with an oven and a decking floor for the family to enjoy.
