Second Life holiday parties was an incredible mix of trance, dnb, electronica, dark psy, goa, minimal, proggy, acid, experimental, industrial, noize, tribal, jazz, live music, country, blues, reggae, salsa, classical, opera, and Christmas music. I heard it all and then some.
I love music of all kinds. If it's good, it's worth listening to, so don't start with the nose-up-in-the-air over your favorite genre. Believe me... good music will always find an audience. An audience of sophisticated listeners will stop to listen to any good sound... even if it isn't part of your normal repertoire.
What is amazing is that dj's and musicians around the world know this, and they borrow from all genres to create their own personal sounds.
Here in Second Life, we get the results from around the world. World music mixes with the trendy sounds of the day, and we get the sounds that we love so much.
I want to thank all the dj's, musicians, club owners and event makers in SL. You guys made a holiday scene like no other. APPLAUSE & BRAVO ::::
Special thanks to you <3:

So, this is the dread from DV. I'm trying to do it in a Night Lords style (it still needs the lightning on the armour plating). This is a dread that is becoming a daemon of Khorne, it's most of the way there, with just a few remaining armour plates, and the rest, well, it's pretty red flesh ;)
i'm presenting videos of my multi-touch app to two members of the police of Hessen (thus their faces are mosaicd).
an empty bikeone bike sharing program docking station. people leaning on it, someone mistaken it for a bike rack. i mean, really, don't understand people. they launched the program a couple of weeks ago and the docking stations have been around for almost two months and some people still do not know what it is...

Written on reverse of postcard: Dear Mary, Managing to enjoy ourselves in spite of the lousy weather. We had the yanks in for three days but so far we haven't seen much of the local talent. We're going to the dancing to-night so here's hoping. See you soon. Love Ann

Its exceptionally rare I buy diecast motorbikes unless they are part of multi-sets but the latest Indiana Jones themed Matchbox Ducati Scrambler was worth buying just for the novelty and its card artwork. It was also very cheap which is just as well as there really is no substance to this casting which doesn't even have a way of standing itself up!

The really funny thing is that he was singing "praise the lord and pass the ammuntion" when I shot this...just one of the many AMAZING musicians that you'll find on the streets of New Orleans, LA
Catherine Creek is a multi-use trail, and my experience is that people are courteous and considerate, such as these mountain bikers watching out for a botanist.
