Les braconniers participent à la disparition de l'oiseau en France et peuvent être sévèrement punis, pourtant le trafic de ces oiseaux qui tolèrent très mal la captivité s'intensifie.

I captured this multi-ring glory from our plane as we were approaching Ushuaia, Argentina. If you look carefully at the inner shimmering ring on the right middle you can see the shadow of our airplane.

Staircase inside the multi-function building Welle 7 (wave 7) which is located close to the train station.

The lighting on the top floor has a different colour temperature than the lights further down, therefore the interesting colour cast.

I composed this photograph while walking the Virgin River Trail in St. George, Utah.

The geology of southern Utah features many striking colours, depending on the mineral makeup of the rocks. But of all the common colorful minerals found in Earth’s crust, few are as abundant, dynamic, and multi-colored as iron. Depending on how it combines with other elements, iron can form a veritable rainbow of colors, When iron combines with oxygen it becomes iron oxide, and its degree of oxidation largely determines its color, a common result being vibrant orange/red, as pictured here.
