This light was built in 1982. It is located on Rouse Point, helping to mark the entrance to Gabarus harbour.

i went and got my hair de-bulked today. this is the prior to picture. this is au natural, which is how i usually wear it. only i don't know the last time i went a day without a ponytail.

i think i like the new do, though i always find something not quite right. i also know in a month it will look just right. i just have to wait it out and get used to it.

At Montserrat on our afternoon optional tour on my Cosmos tour, October 14, 2012.

Montserrat is a multi-peaked mountain located near the city of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. It is part of the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range. The main peaks are Sant Jeroni (1,236 m), Montgrós (1,120 m) and Miranda de les Agulles (903 m). The mountain is the namesake for the Caribbean island of Montserrat. Montserrat is sometimes referred to as "tall", or "la cuchador" (the spork).

It is well known as the site of the Benedictine abbey, Santa Maria de Montserrat, which hosts the Virgin of Montserrat sanctuary and which is identified by some with the location of the Holy Grail in Arthurian myth.

"Montserrat" literally means "saw (serrated, like the common handsaw) mountain" in Catalan. It describes its peculiar aspect with multitude of rock formations which are visible from a great distance. The mountain is composed of strikingly pink conglomerate, a form of sedimentary rock. Montserrat is Spain's first National Park.

Here is a friend doing a jump in the Terrain Park so I can learn a new, Tom Bol (www.tombolphoto.com ), technique. Tom has a Kelbytraining video that explains how he does this. On this shot, there are 14 sequential images taken at high speed by the D4 sitting on a tripod so the background is consistent in each image. Then, the images are brought into CS6 as layers, with the first layer being the image that contains the first ski image on the left. The remaining images are all black layer masks and then you paint in white to reveal each capture of the skier. Tom explains it better than I can but it looks something like this.

Nikon D4 | ISO 1250 | 14-24mm lens at 14mm | f / 5.0 | 1/640 second. No added lights; just mother nature.

Stopped by Lane Bryant today. I was wearing color today green flats, Dark blue Skinny Jeans, Black Cami, Very colorful light sweater from last time, and my short boyish wig. Necklace rings and bracelets along with my black hobo bag. I can’t say enough about the lovely ladies there, They always comment on my shoes or bag. Today on gal said she loved the green flats, I told her I do too..!!!!. That I loved being able to wear pretty colors.
