Nikon D800 Photoshoot of Twin Sister Bikini Swimsuit Model Goddesses

Twin sister goddesses!

Shot with my new, rather expensive B&W CP (circular polarizer)--the B+W XS-Pro Kaesemann Circular Polarizer with Multi-Resistant Nano Coating ! I love the finish it gives! Nothing in post compares! :)

Finished in Lightroom 4!

Nikon D800 Photographs of two beautiful blonde swimsuit bikini model twin sisters shot with the brand new Nikon D800 and Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II AF-S Nikkor Zoom Lens.

Captured in both RAW and JPEG.

Check out the amazing detail in the full resolution photos! I was running out of CF & SD cards fast, as the files are huge!

Classic California Hero's Journey Mythology Goddesses! Tall, pretty, thin, fit, with pretty blue eyes and long straw-blonde hair, blowing on the sea breeze.

Modeling the brand new black Gold 45 Revolver & Braveheart Sword Hero's Journey Mythology Gold'N'Virtue bikinis!

On El Matador Beach in Malibu!

Enjoy the epic beauty of the mythological hero's journey, in great detail via the Nikon D800! :)

The full resolutions RAWs and JPEGs are amazing!

Enjoy!

May the goddesses inspire you along your artistic hero's journey!

Fire Fighters had not even picked up from the roof fire on the apartment building at Oakville Ave when calls came in for a possible structure fire at 80-82 Fox St. Multiple calls from occupants and neighbors reported fire coming from the roof and possibly two third floor residents trapped. Engine and ladder companies had to respond accross the city due to the resources tied up at the earlier fire and when the first companies arrived they found heavy fire pushing through the roof and attic vent of a two story wood frame occupied multiple dwelling. Crews quickly stretched in and Truck 3 set up it's ladder. As they aggressively battled the fire from the interior other fire fighter ran a primary search to try and fine the third floor resident. The lifeless male victim was quickly found and removed by fire fighters in a stokes basket. AMR medics treated and transported the man to Waterbury Hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival. While this was happening fire fighters were performing a secondary search for the possible second victim as the main body of fire darkened down. It was determined that the other missing resident was not home at the time of the fire. Fire marshals as well as the Waterbury Police Department's Detective Divison were called to investigate the fatal blaze.

Here is a friend doing a jump in the Terrain Park so I can learn a new, Tom Bol (www.tombolphoto.com ), technique. Tom has a Kelbytraining video that explains how he does this. On this shot, there are 14 sequential images taken at high speed by the D4 sitting on a tripod so the background is consistent in each image. Then, the images are brought into CS6 as layers, with the first layer being the image that contains the first ski image on the left. The remaining images are all black layer masks and then you paint in white to reveal each capture of the skier. Tom explains it better than I can but it looks something like this.

a little late posting, but this is my first time trying the multi-exposure feature in camera...love the results!

A bit cliché but I like it.

I found three blooms on an Echinacea plant with three very different forms, so I shot all three forms in a multiple exposure, resulting in this monster.

The bottom floor is parking, first floor up is the main hall for local city chinese congregation, upper floor is a smaller meeting room for the foreign language congregation English. There is also a CO apartment and other rooms. I love the old style watchtower decor on top of the bldg making it uniquely recognizable. But then again they no longer build them like this, it is sort of against the policy to build with this authentic Watchtower style anymore. But I love this style personally.

Really, this Hall is very unique I believe. Almost all halls are built more suburban style as one story halls. But this one is sort of unique because it is in the heart of the city, a true urban multi-story building built by the brothers. (the blue doors are the next-door neighbors)

A friend of mine is engaged in refurbishing, renewing a former home of hers. Throwing out the old and bringing in the new with a flourish. I visited for a while yesterday...wandering through the old farm house, trying to document the works in progress. It's a bit daunting to realize the amount of work to be done, but then at the same time it's overwhelming to take in what she has accomplished already.

And as you can see, she's adept at multi-tasking.
