Even just the subfloor is an improvement over the carpet.

With the living room opened up, it is time to replace the carpet with flooring.

It's also missing the two new doors.

Before - Recycling cupboard. The inside has a shelf each for paper, plastic and glass and we each have a drawer for things like keys and wallets. Need some hooks though.

Dry wall going in everywhere this week so the rooms and ceilings are much more defined.

Just as the snow began to fall today.

Mudroom

Originally a breakfast nook, our plan is to turn it into a laundry room/mudroom area. The lovely wallpaper will be down as quickly as possible and we'll be getting new floors. The awnings outside will be down IMMEDIATELY. They're hideous and we hate them.

... needs white paint. Or black. I could be talked into black.
