This is standing at the garage door looking toward the stairs and the "mud room".

Large foyer with Vermont slate, soaring ceilings, skylight and access to the two car garage, leads into the convenient mudroom complete with coat closet and a wall of cubbies that remain with the property.

This is a handy piece to have in any mudroom. It is a perfect size to write notes and reminders. The basket I attached onto it is great for holding all your knick knacks.

This wood chakkboard has a very smooth surface which makes it really easy to write on. It is 28" wide and 30" tall.

Check out the original regulation colors on the mudroom floor! We can't wait to restore this space. The Northwest Schooner Society has taken on the historical preservation of the Burrows Island Light Station. As you can see, vandals and the ravages of time have done terrible damage to the keepers' quarters. Visit www.burrowsislandlighthouse.com to learn about the project.

Finally found those chalk "ink" pens. Much better to write on these walls. Still.... they erase terribly.
