Still one of my favorite spots in the house. A place for the kids to store backpacks, boots, jackets, etc. right as they come in from the garage. As you can see, it's working out as planned...

Mudroom

The basement made a great mudroom.

I couldn't resist beginning to "move in" to the new closet and pantry space. Light bulbs, food dehydrator, extra food storage, vacuum cleaner. This closet is partially lined with cedar and smells terrific!

Mud room keeps boots, coats, hats out of the way and the rest of your house clean and tidy.

Final coat on ceiling tonight - now all we need are the floors - probably in a couple of weeks.

This is the mudroom entrance, which we would probably use most often. The mudroom is pretty big considering, and I plan to either get a long bench or have nate build a built in one. This room also needs a little drywall to finish.
