This is the sight of top of Mt.Zizou.
In the sky, the snow blown by the wind appears as a pattern.

Taken up at Larch Mountain. The wind was howling up there this morning, and the only other guy up there almost took off before the sunrise. I tried to convince him that it might get good. Well it wasn't amazing, but it did manage to have some nice color...
This is the first time I have used Automerge in Photoshop CS3. It's actually the first time I've tried to stitch together a good panoramic. It was incredibly easy and I learned a few things along the way.
I should of shot vertical images for a larger print size, but I was able to get a 12 Megapixel image out of 3 horizontal shots though. That would make a pretty decent sized print. I have seen people getting 30+ Megapixel images by stitching like this, and that's what sorta got me curious in the first place.
Although there isn't much detail in this image, you should still check out the large version :)

Mt. Rainier from the Skyline hTrail above Paradise in the National Park. It is at 4,392 m the highest mountain in the state of Washington. It is a large active stratovolcano located some 90 km south-southeast of Seattle.
Mt. Horeb Church - located on Ironworks Pike / Mt. Horeb Pike, near Newtown Pike in Fayette County. Originally built in 1827, destroyed by fire in 1926, and rebuilt based on the original plans. Now serves as a Presbyterian Church.

Mt Uwerau features in this image, this is taken up at Kaikoura whilst staying at a friends awesome lodge, Manakau Lodge, Kaikoura. Its about 2,400m high and looks it!
I can actually see this from home in Christchurch on a clear day which is an amazing sight!
