This is Mt Ngauruhoe, (or Mt Doom for those Lord of the Rings fans). Situated on the Central Plateau of the North Island of New Zealand.
I have been told that volcanoes can create their own weather so what is more appropriate than a storm over one of our volcanoes.. I have replaced the sky with Luminar 4 from Skylum. The fence is to keep people from going into a protected area.. I understand that a 10 mile radius has been left as was after the eruption so that scientist can study how long it takes the earth to recover ... A lot of the area has been replanted and the trees are being harvested now.... Happy Fence Friday, Everybody!!!!!

北八ヶ岳スノーシュートレッキング・坪庭から見る縞枯山
Usually, beautiful silver frost can be seen at Mt.Shimagare.
At first, I climbed to this mountain from Ameike Pass.
I could climb to this mountain in a short time by the grip of MSR snowshoe.
Chino city, Nagano pref, Japan
Elevation 14,410 ft (4392 m).
Tahoma, as it is also known, is one of the world's most dangerous volcanoes, and is the tallest mountain in the Cascade Range.
As seen from Longmire.

I noticed photos on the internet taken from this location, but I just couldn't figure out where it was. About a month ago I "discovered" this place, but conditions were poor with a smokey hazy everywhere, so I returned.
The level of the water in the river had dropped since my previous visit which enabled me to get a photo from this angle without getting my feet wet.

Mt. Adams in Washington State, USA with a lenticular cloud overhead, peeking over the Columbia River Gorge. After sunrise. Conditions were a bit too hazy, but I could not resist the composition, and the lenticular cloud.
