I really enjoyed photographing this tiny Harvest Mouse during a Wildlife Workshop. Amazing little creatures.
While sorting out a bulk of lego parts, I found some black 3x3 dishes. Now what could I possibly build with these? Mickey Mouse of course!
Just another little character MOC. I really enjoy making these 😄
Updated my mouse mod a bit more and changed the colors so figured I'd take a cute picture to show it off :)
Wood Mouse - Garden. They appear to have nested under the stream liner and pop up around the stream from time to time to collect food spillage from the bird table adjacent.
Just for fun.
One evening, I noticed a few scurryings by the wall where I put the Hedgehog food down. A very quick dash and grab.
So the next morning I put a few treats on the wall and waited.
It only took a minute or two.....

Possibly Missulena granulosa
This fellow was out and about on the hunt for a female.
This is not a spider to be trifled with as past experience from others shows that that can cause a nasty reaction.
"Mouse spiders are spiders of the genus Missulena, in the mygalomorph family Actinopodidae. There are 13 known species in this genus, all but one of which are indigenous to Australia. One species, M. tussulena, is found in Chile. The name derives from an old belief, now known to be false, that the spiders dig deep burrows similar to those of mice." bie.ala.org.au/species/urn:lsid:biodiversity.org.au:afd.t...
A close shot of Mouse Creek Falls along Big Creek in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. My wife and I ended up on this trail after a long night of rain and extreme humidity on Black Balsam Knob that almost claimed my camera's electronic life (I still have a strange short between the manual position on the camera knob and the selector wheel, prohibiting the selector wheel from working only when in M). I hung the camera from the rear view mirror with the heat turned on fully, and this restored most functions, except that discuss above. Even though it was a Friday morning on a popular trail, the steady drizzle kept most people away - except at Midnight Hole Falls, where once I waded into the creek and composed my shot, a group of 6 teens decided to go swimming and standing directly in front of my camera. Once this happened, I packed up and finished the hike to Mouse Creek Falls. This shot is taken from the far side of Big Creek. Be careful wading across, or your camera might suffer a very watery demise!
If you enjoy my photography, I would very much appreciate you also helping promote my new Facebook page by giving me a like/comment/share/etc. Thanks!
a beautiful little harvest mouse posing on an ear of wheat. I captured the little fella at the British Wildlife Centre
A happy mouse and swirl of soft serve adorn this sign at the defunct Castleton Snack Bar ice cream stand in Castleton, Vermont.
Am I the only one who wants to dress the wee mouse in all the costumes by swapping the heads around?
