A sunny morning brought this lovely little creature out onto our patio to make the most of the Rowan berries and the seed from the bird feeders (the Goldfinches are particularly messy birds - much of what they get from the feeder ends up on the ground...). As usual, my ID abilities are woeful - so, any ideas of what sort of mouse this is anyone?
(Micromys minutus) Even shrivelled old blackberries are appealing food to tiny mice! Last one for now.....
The peeling paint at the Prison offered a whole spectrum of Pareidolia if one took time to look. I spotted this patch of blue that I thought looked like a mouse. I noticed one of the lady photogs taking some as well.
(Pareidolia - the perception of apparently significant patterns or recognizable images, especially faces, in random or accidental arrangements of shapes and lines)

Not just a sunset ... but a rare sighting of Cloud Mouse. He was too late to eat the cheese,
( maybe you guessed today is one of those days when I find it hard to decide which photo to post.)
Mr Whiskers caught something in the garden so I went to see what it was, a mouse.
He was playing with it but luckily for the mouse his claws weren't out.
I took a few shots, rescued the mouse and threw it over the back fence.
I figured with all the soft weeds over there it would stand a better chance of survival than if I left it where it was.

Not a computer mouse but a small crocheted mouse, only 5cm tall, looking into a mysterious sky, filled with pretty lights.
brought to me yesterday evening by my Timmy :-) He always let her run for a moment in the living room and then caught her again. I was able to catch her with a glass and of course she was quickly snapped before I let her out in front of the house :-) Hopefully I didn't hurt her tail with the glass.
I locked Timmy in the living room for this time. He then looked disappointed that I didn't properly appreciate his gift. He had probably thought that we could chase the mouse together in the living room ;-)
