After finishing her skirt, Mrs. Mouse enjoyed a glass of wine and a quiet moment.
Her peace did not last long though because her baby was calling.
New mouse in my 1:12 scale dollhouse.
This is a tiny mouse that I made for my sister in law. I vowed I would never make something so small again, but she saw my little white mouse and requested one to go with her lilac kitty cat I made for her birthday a few years ago. It was as fiddly as the first one LOL.
I will be away for a few days visiting my brother and his wife and I am not sure whether I will be able to spend time on the internet, so I will be in touch when I can.
Another old photo I was recently reminded of. A mouse went down a crack in the ground, turned round and then squeezed out. It was amazing to see. I thought it would get stuck.
I found this baby mouse traumatised on my drive yesterday. I have no idea what had happened to her as she had no marks at all on her body. I put her in a box with some food and water and after a few hours she recovered her composure and started tucking in. I released her but she hung around just long enough for me to get a couple of shots before disappearing from site.

This mouse pad came from Hackberry General Store near Kingman, Arizona. Lots of old cars and trucks are on the grounds. Lots of foreign visitors stop here with their cameras in hand.

This tiny island is found in Corfu and is called pontikonisi or "Mouse Island"
It's got that name because it's a tiny island :)
I like the little boat with the people in it as well, so one sees how tiny the island actually is.

This is a fully grown Harvest Mouse (Micromys minutus), Europe's smallest rodent. I typed Harvest Mouse into Flickr and there are thousands of images but I did not see one that looked like it was of a genuinely wild individual. So I have broken the habit of a lifetime and followed suit (all of my other photographs are of wild animals in the wild - I think). A good friend had some captive bred individuals and he was kind enough to let me photograph them.
The wee mouse darts from underneath to collect the bits of nuts etc. dropped from the feeders above.
how cute is my Mickey Mouse Waffle Iron!!!
I love these waffles because they're a bit chewy and doughy! Dust with powered sugar and top with fresh fruit and breakfast is served!!
Ingredients:
1 cup water
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, beaten
Directions
1. In a bowl, mix together water, sour cream, yogurt, lemon juice and vanilla.
2. Sift flour into a separate, large bowl; stir in baking powder, baking soda and salt.
3. Add sour cream mixture and eggs to flour mixture; blend until smooth.
4. Cook on a lightly greased waffle iron until golden brown; lift off with a fork.
Makes 5 Mickey Mouse waffles!

I am always somewhat fascinated by the little red light in my desk-mouse. It glows when I touch the mouse.
The Star Wars characters are welcoming their new mousey overlord, but they are worshiping the wrong mouse.

This mouse froze believing I couldn't see it. Using the macro lens and lying on my belly, I closed in on it slowly while it watched me. The camera was on auto iso and I was surprised how well it turned out.
Today whilst out on my travels i saw this mouse. Initially it scooted away and i missed my shot. Anyway, i sat down and all of a sudden it came out from it's hiding place and came right up to me. In the end it became really tame, and came very close. It didn't seem nervous at all and i managed to get several shots. Anyway, i hope you like this one.
