I wonder where I can rent a bull snake...
Today whilst out on my travels i saw this mouse. Initially it scooted away and i missed my shot. Anyway, i sat down and all of a sudden it came out from it's hiding place and came right up to me. In the end it became really tame, and came very close. It didn't seem nervous at all and i managed to get several shots. Anyway, i hope you like this one.
Photographic day at British Wildlife Centre... Great opportunity to take pics of this tiny little Harvest Mouse without the glass enclosure... so so cute and was no bigger than 4-5cm long.

Well I sent my husband out to barBQ hamburgers tonight, We had just pulled the BarBQ out of the shed where we store it for the winter. He opened it up to check the burners and let out a yell. I came running out and he was hopping around saying "mouse babies, mouse babies!!" There were 3 of them, very cute but still...they're mice... I put them in a box with some leaves and put them under the shed. Not sure if they're too young to live on their own.

Mouse’s Tank is a natural basin in the rock where water collects after each rainfall. A half-mile round trip trail leads to Mouse’s Tank from the trailhead parking area. There are excellent examples of prehistoric petroglyphs on the trail. Mouse’s Tank is named for a Southern Paiute Indian renegade (“Little Mouse”) who used Valley of Fire as a hideout in the 1890s after he was accused of killing two prospectors and other crimes in the area. He was accused of gunning down two prospectors and many other crimes.

Endlich erwischt.
Finally caught. After hours, I was finally able to get a picture of the mouse in the scrub. They just did not want to be photographed. It is difficult nowadays to find good models:-). Have a nice flickr weekend.

Definitely not a pretty build, but at least it works!
Sometime in 2002 I had a mouse rooting around the house and set about building a live trap using LEGO. It didn't work very well. The mouse triggered it but managed to escape, and then left on its own before I had a chance to improve the design.
So when another mouse moved in sometime in 2006, I was pretty excited to go about building a better mousetrap. Not more than half an hour after setting it up, with nothing more than some old bread as bait, I heard the door snap shut and ran downstairs to find my first catch.
Of course it turned out there were two mice on the loose. I caught the other one a couple of nights later. Luckily neither one was trapped for very long, so they didn't have an opportunity to chew their way out. Both mice were released unharmed in a not so nearby wooded area.
