The all-wood World War II de Havilland Mosquito FB 26 KA114 was rebuilt & restored over the last 8 years for an American owner.
"The Mosquito is the RAF’s first multi-role aircraft. It was built largely from plywood, which is one of the reasons why in the days before epoxy resins, they did not survive long after the war.
It is powered by twin Rolls Royce Merlin engines, the same liquid cooled 27 litre V12 that powered the Hurricane and Spitfire fighters, the Avro Lancaster bomber and the P51 Mustang."
This mosquito doesn't want to have his picture taken. after 3 or 4 shots he tried to go for my arms, luckily fast enough put him away.

The Sigarms Mosquito laser bounced off an old Rolex submariner. There is no photoshopping done on my pictures.
If there is one hostel in the world you could stay in then I would recommend mosquito creek. It really is one of the best places in the rockies.
