Musitronics Mu-Tron ( Mutron ) II Phaser. It is highly regarded as the greatest phase shifter of all time, using high quality opto-photocouplers to ensure a high-quality signal weaving through the phase. It even silences other effects in your signal chain. If you havn't heard a Mu Tron II or Bi-Phase yet, your in for a treat. It can do everything from Ernie Isley's "Whose that Lady" to the lush sounds of Robin Trower, even the freaky modulations of Frank Zappa. The latter of the two publicly commended it's quality and versatility.

I had always just thought of the poeny as a beautiful flower. However listening to a radio programme the other day, I realized that it was much more than something nice to look at. Over 262 compounds have been obtained so far from the plants of Paeoniaceae. These include monoterpenoid glucosides, flavonoids, tannins, stilbenoids, triterpenoids and steroids, paeonols, and phenols.

Biological activities include antioxidant, antitumor, antipathogenic, immune-system-modulation activities, cardiovascular-system-protective activities and central-nervous-system activities.

The herb known as Paeonia, in particular the root of P. lactiflora (Bai Shao, Radix Paeoniae Lactiflorae), has been used frequently in traditional medicines of Korea, China and Japan. Research suggests that constituents in P. lactiflora – paeoniflorin and paeonol – can modulate IgE-induced scratching behaviors and mast cell degranulation.

Ini adalah digitally simulated spring reverb.

Analog spring REVERB bekerja dgn cara spt ini:

in - buffer - split (1)+(2) - mixer - out

dimana:

(1) spring

(2) kawat (jadi direct signal)

Sehingga SARINGAR berisikan:

in - buffer - split (1)+(2) - mixer - out

dimana:

(1) digital spring simulator

(2) kawat (jadi direct signal)

keterangan knob:

================

GAIN: menentukan level input (jika gitar Anda humbucker, mungkin perlu agak dikecilkan; sebaliknya kalo single coil mungkin Anda perlu sedikit menaikkan -- supaya suara reverbnya FAT tapi tetap ga OVERLOAD). Dalam disain yg digambarkan di atas, GAIN adalah kontrol dari buffer INPUT.

LEVEL: volume reverb. Besar-kecilnya volume yg keluar dari digital spring simulator ditentukan di sini.

FEEDBACK: banyaknya suara pantulan..

LOW-HIGH: knob2 ini bekerja di section mixer. Jadi total suara yg hendak keluar diatur karakternya via knob ini...

Jadi misal, Anda ingin mengatur karakter REVERB a'la

KAMAR MANDI:

GAIN: secukupnya (tergantung gitar)

LEVEL: 7/10

FEEDBACK: 8/10 (pantulan di dinding kamar mandi yg keras sangatlah intens)

LOW: 5/10

HIGH: 8/10 (bright karena dinding kamar mandi yg keras)

HALL:

GAIN: secukupnya (tergantung gitar)

LEVEL: 8/10 (suara reverbnya berasa lebih jelas, tapi intensitasnya rendah)

FEEDBACK: 7/10 (pantulan Hall lebih luas)

LOW: 8/10 (membangun nuansa ruangan yg luas, big bottom)

HIGH: 6/10 (agak dof, jangan terlalu bright)

Memang, dalam mengatur SARINGAR dibutuhkan ketelitian PLUS imajinasi. Tapi kami optimis, ini bisa jadi sebuah project yg "detail" dalam mengatur kebutuhan REVERB kita.

I had to use a reed switch to short out the modulation going to the Minimoog...

Two amplitude-modulating square waves. This only shows the first few cycles of an OSC1 "on" phase, there was more.

"The Jazz Station Big Band proves to be one of the most promising ensembles in Europe. The writing is ingenious and ambitious and the arrangements are deep and meaningful. Their astute use of odd time signatures, metric modulations and free improvisation keeps the listener engaged and interested but there's also great lyricism, simplicity and beauty in their work. Definitely a high quality release from an ensemble that has unlimited potential"

Conventional construction methods all depart from the basic premises of mass production: standardization, modulation and a production line. What these systems developed during the last two centuries fail to take into account are the evolutionary leaps and bounds the manufacturing industry has taken over the last decades. With the introduction of CNC technologies and rapid prototyping machines have altered the paradigms of fabrication forever. It is due to these new tools that it is now possible to create (n) amount of completely unique and different pieces with the same amount of energy and material that is required to create (n) identical pieces. The possibilities for implementation of new forms, textures, materials and languages are infinite due to the versatility that these new tools offer a growing network of architects, designers, fabricators that are integrating them into their professional practices to generate unique and precise objects that respond to countless data and real-life conditions.

Pottery is not just a significant and traditional craft in Vietnam, but also an important means of livelihood. The Thanh Ha Pottery Village in Hoi An is a famous example in this type of an establishment that aims at furthering tradition as well as employment. They used clay mixing techniques, burning and baking time and heat modulations to bring out different colors. The craftsmen also modulate all these aspects to achieve immense durability in their products.
